- I review Toy Soldiers, directed by Daniel Petrie Jr, and stars Sean Astin and Wil Wheaton. An underrated thriller!
Sorry I'm late, I've been busy moving our family to a new home, and life has been crazy. I would have vlogged about it, but do you really want that level of detail?

Legit thought this was Small Soldiers and was totally baffled at your intro hahaha
Also...... Hostages
Lol. That would have made a logical title too
OMW small soldiers is awesome
R.I.P yogurt. He died in a car accident at 23.
Shawn Phelan (1975-1998) Good review
Navy Fan 😞
Navy Fan Who in the movie did he play?
@@kelleyannethomas5372 I think he played the boy in the movie who knew about all of the electronics on how the airplane worked.
It was MY ASS farts that took him out... the methane and sulphur was too much to take so DEATH became him
I remember this movie very clearly from when I was a kid I freaking loved it
New sub here rolling through your reviews. I had completely forgotten how much I loved this movie, thanks for reminding me. :)
Lou Gossett Jr. was always great at playing those undersanding and reasonable, but firm authority figures. I grew up in the 80's and early 90s when he was in a ton of films and was always a pleasure to watch.
The only reason I watched this was because it had Sean Astin and Wil Wheaton, but ended up loving it way more than I thought I would.
This is what I am talking about when I say, "People need to go and watch and up vote the older videos to keep this channel growing like it deserves."
Me whenever I have a few minutes to spare
Gotcha
Gotcha!
I love this movie. I have a signed picture signed by Sean Astin, Andrew Divoff, and Keith Coogan
Good review I've never seen toy soldiers I thought it was a review for Small Soldiers and I love the fact that at the end you practiced saying hostages, because recently I had to practice anomaly .
I got to be in this movie, as a teacher sitting in the auditorium, as Luis had the kids in a line. It was a great time, and a beautiful set, near Charlottesville, Va...Jefferson country. Sean Astin was the friendliest of the stars, and would come and hang out with the extras, and throw frisbees and goof around. Denholm Elliot was also very friendly. The rest kept to themselves pretty much. But since I loved Sean's parents, Patty Duke and John Astin, I hoped the movie and the career of young Sean would soar because if it. He hasn't done too badly.
16:07 Well, try to imagine how much of a struggle it is for people like me to pronounce some of these words who don't speak English as their first language...
Great movie review though as always
This movie came out five years before I was born but I randomly stumbled across when I was a teenager and LOVED it! Seriously a great classic action movie for teens, a rare feat. Great review!
One movie I love that nobody seems to know is Big Trouble. All star cast and really funny.
You should read the book. Had me in tears!
😂😂😂 excellent review and the "it will explode 💣" I couldn't stop laughing 🤣
He watched a lot of Tiny Toons 😂 Why are you so underated? I crack up EVERYTIME!
It's like "Goonies" but with guns! Review "Dune." I love that. I know people think the 1984 version sucks, but I like it.
Dune is awesome
Me looking at the subs for you’re channel hoping THEY EXPLODE 😂 no seriously though I’m definitely subbing amazing review
The New Bee is so great as a reviewer. Love it when he does the laugh in this review.
"C3...was C4 too expensive "😂😂😂😂😂😂
I’m late but thank you this review was so entertaining. Such amazing content.
I nominate 1987's "Russkies" and 1988's "Little Nikita" to recieve the stinging of TheNewBee.
Loved this movie at the time, as a kid. It's one of those movies from the early 90's that hasn't aged well with time though. Children may enjoy it today and those of us who remember it at the time will get a nostalgia kick but it's ott unbelievability is a thing of the past
I greatly enjoyed watching this video. That was an excellent review.
C3 is a plastic explosive similar to C4. The main difference is that C3 brittles more when exposed to cold, so that really shouldn't be a problem for this film. After all, this doesn't take place during winter.
0:12 “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.” Look at Mr. Fancy-Pants here, name dropping a movie title, 6 months before the production had its title changed.
I love this movie. I've seen it lots of times. I think I first saw it with my family when I was a kid a year after it came out at the theater. When I was in high school in the 90s, a couple students talked about the money. A girl in one of my classes said she got shaken up when Joey was shot to death.
I forgot about this movie. I need to watch it again
usually when I watch movie reviews I assume the movie is probably gonna be crap and that the review will be entertaining to watch because it'll explore all the faults in the film. pleasantly surprised that watching this review made this film sound really good, and actually makes me want to check it out, which is a first! hopefully I'll get to see it at some point, it was nice watching a review and finding what sounds like a good movie :)
I don't know if you got to see it but it's on a free streaming site called Sony crackle so you could watch it on your phone or computer
None of these terrorists have ever heard of a diversion. Loved the movie though.
They will EXPLODE!!!
Love this Movie❤️ Thanks for reacting, wish more people would discover this movie.
Great review and funny.
Got a new sub pal.
Nice of the judge to wear his robes so he can hide his parachute! That's forward thinking right there.
Diggstown is my most favorite movie most people don’t know about. And Toy Solders is number 2
Know and love both...
I love this movie!! I went to an all boys school, in Connecticut. We would totally do this. We would have totally gotten our asses kicked.
Yeah, it's a Die Hard thing. But, it involves the underachieving getting their shit together. Plus Louis Gossett Jr!
Can you do Sleepaway Camp?
Toy Soldiers is a favorite of mine. I remember renting and watching it as a family when it released
Actually, I love the great under-rated movie Hiding Out with Jon Cryer. Keith Coogan from Toy Soldiers played his likeable somewhat cousin. I wish that was on Netflix or Tubi TV.
I had a VHS with this movie I watched it so many times that is not even funny :D So when Lord of the Rings hit theaters i was like, that's this guy from "Toy Soldiers".
Tiny Toons? Great Stuff. But Pinky and the Brain... that's Hans Gruber cartoon level brilliance! Just liked an old video for you!
Good job, great review.
I have a under the radar movie "The Loch Ness Horror" it's so convoluted and cheesy, there is also a inflated nessie that looks goofy and awesome
Very underrated movie from the early 90s....I used to watch it every time it was on like HBO or Cinemax
That's no mafia boss, that's the dude from law & order. He is even wearing the same getup.
Loved this as a kid. Do deadly prey.wedlocked blind fury and tetsuo the iron man next :)
I movie I really liked that most seem to have never cared about, or even heard about, is Nighthawks - A Sylvester Stallone movie with Rutger Hauer and Billy Dee Williams.
Toy Soldiers is a good movie and one of my personal favourites - because it shows how compliance can kill you.
I wasn't complaining about the no-pants guy... until I realized he's technically underage... but I was 17 at the time of release.. although now I'm an adult and they are forever imprinted on film as teenagers.. In conclusion.. I'm utterly confused. And walking a razor.
Great movie Definitely one of my favorite popcornflix.
i remember this show scares me back when i was a child
I loved Dead Alive - the unrated version by Peter Jackson.
Are we not going to talk about how Sam wise went to boarding school then became a football star and then saved middle earth what guy
Watched this today. It was pretty good.
I always though of this like Die Hard meets Home Alone
I Love Toys.
I loved this movie, awesome review.
Man, Wesley Crusher lost a lot of his discipline after he left Starfleet. What a shame.
+RaedFrost i blame television
How many people wanted to shoot Wesley Crusher....this movie delivers. ;)
Loved this movie as a kid. Could you do The Hunted (1995) with Christopher Lambert
Short Circuit is way underrated. both of them.
3 1/2 Bees here.
Devil wears Prada. Hands down best movie ever!
Not Die Hard ....this is a Red Dawn clone
I've met Sean Astin.
Kinda surprised to se c3 in a movie. Actuality makes it less cheesy for me..
Wait. Is that The Wishmaster djinn as the antagonist?
Sammy boy, it's weird seeing him as 'jock'
preach, i thought i was the only one who enjoyed this movie haha
Pots and pans was my childhood punishment thanks to thos movie.
I really enjoyed this when it came out. It didn't age well however.
I like Toy Soldiers
One yawn and they will...EXPLODE!

I was thinking of a different movie with toys
