Awesome video as always JP. I bought myself a 2018 ST-X 2 weeks ago and am building it up. I just received my idrive unit, so will be installing this weekend in the same location under the cup holder. 2 questions 1). Are you still happy with the head unit location ?
2). Do you need to readjust the unit every time you start the car, or dose it remember what you set it on ?

The idrive was the best thing i've put on my mq triton & I just leave it on AC apart from the beach when the economy mode 5 seems to be the best so far.

I fitted one to my Mercedes-Benz x-class pickup 350d.
It had a flat spot when starting off and I was then pushing the throttle hard to drive off and then all the power would suddenly come on driving me and my Partner into the back of the seat.
Fitted the idrive and found the AC mode was the one.
Now moving off is smooth and has made a huge difference to the vehicle.
Highly recommended.
Thanks so much for the video mate. I must admit I was a little sceptical about the amount of difference but turned out the unit was on special at Autobahn today so I took the chance. My 2016 np300 had a lot of lag on take off but after the 3 minute install wowee so much better. Thanks again for the video I enjoy watching your posts. Don’t stop. Cheers Pete
G'day Pete, that's so awesome! i'm stoked that i could help make it an simpler decision than going into the purchase blind. My navvy had heaps of lag as well, i was actually shocked at how much the iDrive unit changed the way the car felt and drove! keep an eye out for another video i'll be doing soon >live track Gps< install. It's another cool product from iDrive that you may like.

I installed today on my 2020 Navara. Found your video while searching how to remove the original plug from the pedal. Did not continue to watch until after I completed the installation and did a test drive. Glad to say surprised to see how our installation was almost identical and I tried all of the settings and again surprised to see that we both settled on setting U3 :)
Thanks for the video. Just installed mine and copied your process. Was wondering how to get the plug off, but you answered that. And I would not have thought of that spot to put the controller but its perfect! No cable in sight, nice flat spot for controller but its unobtrusive - and can still stick my Flat White (triple shot) in the holder. Great work.
Great channel mate, you cover some products I did not even knew existed for the NP300... Owning a Nav myself, there are plenty of plans I have for it over time. Like you have covered before, the satnav and throttle response for me are the 2 most annoying things, especially the throttle response, input does not really = output, especially when you need to take a quick gap, as you step on it, it feels like nothing is happening... then seeing that the gap you wanted to take closes fast, so naturally you floor it... then all of a sudden the power kicks in when you don't expect it which did result in wheel spin before, especially in the wet... not ideal. Will this product resolve this issue?, does it solve the lag, or is there still a bit of a delay?
Firstly, thank you. i know what you mean when you say lag, that was a big part of the issue i had with the factory feel the throttle had. The i Drive unit completely fixed this issue even on setting 3, however sometimes you still get the transmission delay if it's confused about the gears it's in. but overall you can 100% notice the difference.
Awesome upload as usual!! I gotta admit I've had my np300 for nearly 12 months and never really liked it. Having said that , your videos have really motivated me to like it and start adding things and doing it up! Did you notice much difference with fuel economy on the idrive performance models? Did that navara came with the slide window at the back or you install it?
You got the 2.3 liter engine? In Asia it is still the 2.5 with the VGT Turbo and 190 hp ... that needs no tuning
How is the post install fuel consumption? Is there a big increase?

Absolutely love it. iDrive has improved the response time quite significantly. I might have add nismo or gtr badge to the Navara ( lol).

Brilliant.. different truck, navara np300 automatic 2020 model, huge difference, best setting for me definately U3 or U4... Reccomend it for £169 here in the UK

Travis D use the scroll button on the steering wheel to go through the pages, or use the scroll button on the steering wheel to go into vehicle settings and you can select it to be displayed

I have noticed this on my own one. But it seems fine when driving it's just when i nock it with my foot or something.
@@jpcaptured799 yes same here when i knock it with my foot...also when i mash the brake not in the centre of the pedal i hear a clicking sound as its alittle slack...checked a few mechanics and they said to remove the pin and put two washers on each side...keep up the great work bro with everything...💯...Trinidad and Tobago in the house...

Resolved issue was not i drive. And I need to have doors locked for light on I drive to go out. Best item I have bought for a car. The colorado is like a V8 on 9.
