I have installed the Denali cansmart , can this be used in chain with the interface to use the smart wheel ?
I too have this question!
I just hooked (chain) mine up via the can smart, This will just get the Bluetooth dongle powered up. Then I cut one of the extra light cords that came with the can smart and spliced the Chigee power supply into the can smart. Then with laptop I programed that connection as an Accessory. If this makes sense.
Can you please tell me what you connected the yellow wire to? I don’t want to void the warranty. Thank you

Love this product, want one for my BMW XR, but they need to also bring out an adapter so it can mount straight to BMW satnav mount.
After 2 months, it will come with 5 Play for BMW original Nav bracket.

How easy is the install into the canbus? I have just ordered mine (to fit to my 2023 GSA) and included the adapter. I’m always nervous about any electrical installs…
It is just a plug, so it’s plug and play nothing to be nervous.
Where did you find the place for the front camera did you change something on the part of ur GS here ? 2:44
It’s a bit of a squeeze, you have to pass it side ways and upside down from the front side. It’s the most inconspicuous place for the front camera.
Can you make zoom on the map with wonder heel?

The remote is plug n play on the CAN BUS of the bike
In the video the (more expensive) BMW version is show with cameras but I was only able to order the Bmw version of the Chigee AIO 5 without cameras in the Netherlands. How can this be?
In the video it’s not the BMW version it’s the universal as I mention AIO 5 lite(version with cameras) on a BMW bike. The BMW version doesn’t support cameras.
It also does not support voice control in Android Auto when using a bluetooth headset....
Νομίζω τα κατάφερα. Έχω κάποια μικρά θέματα με το BSD αλλά φαντάζομαι θα στρώσει με λίγο πιο σωστό calibration. Ήθελα να σε ρωτήσω αν η ροδέλα δουλεύει για Zoom In/Out στο Google Maps όπως επίσης αν η ροδέλα δουλεύει όταν ακούς μουσική για αυξήση και μείωση της έντασης ήχου όταν ακούς Spotify;

You can’t remove it when you’re away from the bike, that’s a no-go.
That's the point. Can't easily be stolen.
It's fitted with anti theft screws so permanently fixed to the bike.
If your leaving your bike in places where shit that’s fixed to it can be stolen, you probably shouldn’t be leaving your bike in those places.
It’s also easy to steal your exhaust with couple of screws, and still be able to use it. This you have to destroy it to remove it, so it will be pretty much useless to steal it.

question, when you have the can control from bmw wheel, how to switch control between bmw interface and the aio-5 interface? Thanks
I will paste the answer from another comment that asked the same. : The wheel is always connected to both Chigee and BMW screen, when your BMW TFT is at the main screen, the wheel doesn't do anything by default at BMW TFT when you flick it left or right, so u use Chigee solely. If you are at another menu of the BMW screen, and you go left or right, Car play also takes the commands to go left or right, but i doesnt do anything other than changing selection, because to select something on Chigee you have to push the indicator cancel button (witch works as enter when you dont have any indicator flashing) If this sounds confusing it isnt, its very simple the way it works and works well! Maybe I will do a video explaining/ showing how it works.

Sometimes I need to navigate GPX files that have previously shared from a computer (not my phone). I mean, offline maps and offline GPX routes by using internal storage & apps...
It has its own storage and features, but you cannot install custom apps. There are some GPX apps that have compatibility with apple car play, like GAIA GPS
Hello, thanks for this superb review. Can you control the volume with the wheel? I see you connect the phone to the tft. Does it work with your intercom?
Thanks! I haven't figured out a way to control the volume with the wheel. My phone is connected to the BMW TFT and the Intercom is connected to the TFT as well, Chigee AIO is also connected to the phone, but the sound goes from Phone -> BMW TFT -> intercom.

Anyone here having an issue when cancelling the turn signal causes a button press on Carplay? Every time I cancel my turn signal, Carplay will play a song or initiate the app that is highlighted on the screen.
I don’t have that problem, but GS has auto cancelling signalling after a turn or when above 100km/h after couple of seconds, maybe you cancel after the motorcycle already auto cancelled ?
@@Biketrips thanks for the reply. The turn signal was still on. No auto cancel. I’ve emailed CHIGEE and they are telling me to push the signal light button back the opposite direction to cancel the turn signal. But that only turns on the other side turn signal. There is no middle position. Strange.
Does this fit on the Denali Cansmart? I already have a Denali D4s and Sound Mini running on it.
I don’t have Denali yet, but because it’s in my plans to add, I have asked the installer here in Greece, and he said yes they would work together, but I haven’t tested it.

Σε όλα τα μηχανάκια μπορεί να εγκατασταθεί, δεν παίζει ρόλο η ηλικία, μόνο το χειριστήριο δεν μπορείς να βάλεις, βέβαια υπάρχει άλλο χειριστήριο Bluetooth universal στο site.

The camera one has a mount for the BMW bar that the nav is on. Check my latest video for the new BMW model.

Thanks ! You have to also buy the module from CHIGEE for the r1250gs that plugs on the CANBUS that the bike has, I explain it in the video.

Ωραία παρουσίαση φίλε. Ωραίο και το μαραφέτι αλλά 500 τόσα δεν είναι και λίγα. Και οψόμεθα για το πόσο θα κρατήσει.
Σε ευχαριστώ! Σε σχέση με επώνυμες μονάδες που υπάρχουν στην αγορά με GPS χάρτες εγκατεστημένους, που κολλάνε κιόλας, η τιμή του είναι καλή και η κατασκευή πολύ ποιοτική. Αυτό έχει και λειτουργίες παραπάνω. Υπάρχουν κι άλλες εναλλακτικές σε χαμηλότερη τιμή που κάνουν παρόμοια δουλειά αλλά η ποιότητα και τα χαρακτηριστικά τους φυσικά δεν είναι ίδια.

Μπορείτε να δείξετε την συνδεσμολογία στην μπαταρία
3 καλώδια είναι, ένα για κάθε πόλο της μπαταρίας (+ -) .και το τρίτο το συνδέεις με ένα οποιοδήποτε 12v καλώδιο που παίρνει ρεύμα όταν ανοίγει η μηχανή και λειτουργεί σαν εντολή να ανοίξει και η οθόνη.
@@Biketrips επειδή είμαι καινούργιος κάτοχος σε gs 1200lc δεν κατέχω το σύστημα cunbus που έχει ή bmw που θα συνδέσω το κίτρινο καλώδιο
@@ioannispapayiannis769 το κίτρινο καλώδιο που είναι μαζί με τα καλώδια της μπαταρίας, γεφυρώνει ένα καλώδιο που δίνει ρεύμα η μηχανη με το που ανάψει, υπάρχουν πολλές επιλογές, τώρα δεν ξέρω στο 1200 στο 1250 το γεφύρωσα σε ενα καλώδιο κάτω από τη σέλα. Το CANBAS είναι άλλο, εκεί συνδέεις το εξάρτημα (εάν το αγόρασες Πουλιέται ξεχωριστά) που παίρνει τις εντολές από την ροδέλα στο τιμόνι.

Τα καλώδια για την οθόνη μπορούν να περάσουν κάτω από το μεσαίο πλαίσιο του ρεζερβουάρ που έχει την τάπα βενζίνης, η άμα δεν μπορείς να τα αφαιρέσεις για κάποιο λόγο, μπορεις να τα περάσεις κάτω απο το δεξί ψυγείο προς την μπαταρία και από εκεί πάλι να ανέβεις κάτω από τη σέλα για να βγεις πίσω για την πίσω κάμερα. Απλά απέφυγε περιοχές με έντονη θερμότητα. Πάνω από το ρεζερβουάρ πιστεύω είναι καλύτερη λύση. Ότι έξτρα καλώδιο το διπλώνεις η πάνω από την μπαταρία, η κάτω από το ασημί πλαστικό που έχει κάτω από τις σέλες.
@@Biketrips Πάνω από το ρεζερβουάρ; ξήλωμα όλη τη μηχανή μου ακούγεται αυτό... Βασικά τα έχω συνδέσει όλα με το Canbus που ήταν ενωμένο το εργοστασιακό navigation μπροστά και δεξιά. Εκεί που είναι η κόρνα περίπου. Συνεπώς, όλα τα καλώδια θα ήθελα να βρω χώρο να τα χωρέσω κάπου μπροστά. Δεν έχω δηλαδή κανένα λόγο να φτάσω στην μπαταρία. Έχω μόνο το καλώδιο της πίσω κάμερας που πρέπει να έρθει με κάποιο τρόπο μπροστά.
@@GeorgeNikolaidis στο GSA δεν ξέρω πόσο δύσκολο είναι να βγάλεις το μεσαίο πάνελ, στο GS είναι 5 βίδες και βγαίνει πρώτο. Ναι μπορείς να πάρεις και ρεύμα από μπροστά, βγάζει και μια Φύσσα η BMW που θεωρητικά κουμπώνει κατευθείαν, αλλά επειδή δεν ήταν σίγουροι στην αντιπροσωπεία εάν θα δουλεύει κομπλέ, πήγα κατευθείαν από την μπαταρία.
Το έχω παραγγείλει και εγώ, χαίρομαι που ακούω και έναν Έλληνα να το έχει και να το βρίσκει χρήσιμο και μάλιστα στο 1250GS που ήδη έχει πολλές ευκολίες στην οθόνη του.
Οπότε φαντάζομαι σε παλαιότερη μηχανή θα είναι σαν πολιτισμικό σοκ.
Μέχρι τώρα είμαι πολύ ευχαριστημένος, συνδέεται πάντα με το κινητό χωρίς προβλήματα, έχει τρομερή απόκριση δεν κολλάει το σύστημα με τις κάμερες μπορεί να φανεί χρήσιμο σε πολλές περιπτώσεις.

Hi, thanks for your great video! How did you get the front cam into that spot? I tried the same on my 1250 GS ... no chance. Did you modify the brackets?
Thanks! As I said in another comment, it’s a tight squeeze, you insert it side ways from the front, and then turn it with the mounting upwards. It’s the only place that has somewhat good visibility and it’s “hidden” a bit.
