Watched them relentlessly as a kid. Their humor was so hilarious I still look up vids to this day to watch them joke around. No matter how dark, I didn't care. I found it funny. :)

What do you think young children are exposed to online.
This is a fresh breath, to give a voice to young people to laugh about anything and everything,.

Norwegians are defiant, especially those of us who are a bit older. No one can tell us what we are allowed to laugh at. There is also a difference between comedians who ridicule all groups and those who consistently go after a particular group, or who consistently avoid making fun of another group. As long as you kick in all directions, it's fine. Sometimes it affects me, other times it affects you. Otherwise, you are probably right that the younger ones are more sensitive.
Otto Jespersen was relentless in his monologues, and little Shabana Rehman, R.I.P, who in front of an audience liftet up Mullah Krekar, who is a political activist and Muslim scholar of Iraqi and Kurdish origin. Krekar was of course furious.

I showed this to my younger siblings when I was in my early teens because I liked it so much. They absolutely adore it, and apparently, they have forgotten I was the one who introduced it to them because they tried showing it to me some years later😂
My older cousins were the ones who showed me the video when I was a kid as well😅 And I know for a fact the adults did not care that we watched it.
I don't think Norwegians are very sensitive when it comes to humor, or even the age of the ones watching. I also don't think the Norwegian's sense of humor has changed much since then, to be honest. This coming from someone in their twenties.
If you enjoy it you enjoy it. I am a strong believer in being able to make fun of everything as long as it's not cruelly meant and not directed at only one or two groups of people.

"Raske menn" as the group is called was mine and my brother's favorite show when we were young. We Norwegians don't take these things so seriously and can make humor out of a lot of things that some parts of the world would not tolerate.

Hahahaha. I was probably going too far with this request, but i can't say i was dissappointed in your reaction 😂.
This performance was shocking for me as well when it happened on live TV on a family friendly award show.
But i think the fact that it was so shocking (even for the 20th century) was probably the reason it got so popular, especially among us who were the younger audience (i was 10 at the time). I had never laughed so hard from watching something on TV my entire life.
I will try to keep the requests more family friendly from now on 😊

I'm, I laughed so hard I litterly was crying! 😂😂😂😂😂 Shocking people are my favourite type of humour! It's the thing that makes me laugh the hardest too, when people shock me! 🙈🤣 I have never heard anyone offended by this skit. We kind of have a divided situation when it comes to people getting offended. Some people get offended for ANYTHING! I have had a pretty heated discussion with someone that was offended on behalf of pedophiles.... 😬 And the other people kind of has a "not getting offended by ANYTHING" attitude. Some of those guys jokes should be illegal 😬😬😬

I really miss when humour could be as good as this 😂 People with all the diseases they mentioned could actually have a sense of humour too back then 😅 Now people would just get so offended that they wouldn't even know where to start 😅 I think the translation is actually very accurate, but this show was also originally sent on tv late at night when kids should be in bed sleeping.
I didn't actually know about how dark this was when my niece that was 6 back then wanted to watch little red riding hood ( the fairytale) and this came up and she wanted to watch it. I turned it off pretty fast when Calle started to speak about his inner fantasy, and fortunately my niece didn't understand what he said, I just told her it was not actually going to be the story she wanted to see after all and she was fine with that. She watched it on Pudding-tv instead and it was kind of not what I was expecting, but it was not as dark as this and with dolls. You should check out some of the Pudding-tv content on RUclips, my favorite is the Grandis pizza, it's a modern version of an old folktale and the original story is just a pancake instead of a pizza 🍕.

@@RunarNyrud You're spreading misinformation to someone who is reacting and learning about the culture of a country, so it is important, yes. It was a family show and there are children in the audience. It's important for context to understand that Norwegians aren't as offended as they are.

@@Atlas_Redux I do not agree, I do not think it is a family show at 21:35 at night. Somebody brought their children, might have done. But the gullfisken was in my opinion not a family show, and the original show that this act is taken from is not a family show either. This is in my opinion grown up stuff.

Rødhette doesn't have an age in this context. Or, it is not contextual really.
It's a stupid sketch/parody of a folk tale. It's very simple, and no feelings were hurt :]
That was when it was shown, at least...
As an adult now, it's a bit annoying but some of it is funny in how far it goes.
As a teenager or kid, it was freakin _HILARIOUS._

when it comes to being politically correct most norwegians DO NO GIVE AN EFF, and when it comes to comedy there are no limits as it should be
times arent different, we're just surrounded by too many snowflakes that think they are unique and think their feelings and how they feel should matter and be taken into account for everyone around them. my nephews were 10, 8 and 6 when this was live broadcasted on TV and they laughed their asses off along with all the adults. and it was the big talk in school for the rest of the year and so many kids that acted out that sketch
