They also got lots of carrots and cucumbers for breakfast.
Gentaro as well as Kintaro annoy their mother Genki.
Gentaro made Genki angry, and soon Momotaro came to her rescue.

Father MOMOTARO ♂(2000/7/3)
He is hesitant in new situations and is a loner.
His father died before he was born, and he had never spent time with a silverback.
He had already turned into a silverback by the time he was 10 years old.
He is struggling with unfamiliar child-rearing.
MOMOTARO's father is BIJU.
MOMOTARO's mother is MOMOKO
Mother GENKI ♀ (1986/6/24)
She is 14 years older than Momotaro and has a role to support the whole family mentally.
She has had a tumultuous and eventful life.
She has returned to her birthplace, Kyoto City Zoo.
She had never been blessed with a baby but after meeting Momotaro,
she had two sons.
She is a very maternal female gorilla.
GENKI's father is MAKK.
GENKI's mother is HIROMI.
First son GENTARO, male (2011/12/21)
He was separated from his mother Genki soon after he was born.
Genki's milk production was not very good.
He was raised by his keeper for his first10 months.
Because of this, he is very fond of humans.
His face is so expressive, and everyone enjoys watching him.
Second son KINTARO ♂ (2018/12/19)
He is just very strong-willed and independent.
He has big eyes and long eyebrows.
The way he plays a lot with his brother Gentaro makes everyone smile.
We can't wait to see what kind of gorilla he'll become!

GL, I think Gentaro’s body will very much resemble is dads, but his face is all his moms. ❤
Momotaro seems to be getting better at his fatherly duties, he isn't too aggressive and seems less confused at what he should do, in my opinion.

I am a diabetic and I don’t get candy anymore, but it’s OK. Candy‘s not good for any of us. 😅😅😅 so I also love carrots carrots are almost a free food for a diabetic, and they are sweet. Apples yes are sweet bananas yes are sweet, but they are not free for a diabetic. You got to watch what you eat carrots I can eat a small bag and not bump my sugar levels up like I can with apples and bananas so I understand why they love carrots. My beautiful Genki is loved by her troop and around the world 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

Kintaro is always hoarding carrots 🥕. He loves them! Momo keeps order like a good silverback. Mommy just wants to eat in peace ! And Gentaro likes to test the waters! They are all beautiful creatures, thanks GL!❤️

I love the way Momotaro always straightens out the blanket that he will sit on, meticulously and deliberately smoothing out any bunched up wrinkles and lumps so it will be comfortable to sit on. Momotaro is always thinking about and doing things with deliberate purpose. "No wrinkles please." He is neat and tidy and is always aware of what is going on around him. A very unique and interesting fellow indeed.....and guite majestic at all times. You gotta admire him. ❤

It's good to see everyone enjoying carrots at breakfast. I never get tired seeing Kintaro with two great big handfuls of carrots. Momotaro had to check Gentaro's behavior, letting him know it's too hot to mess with your mother.

What a wonderful idea ! I wonder if the gorillas would like some tires to sit on with a convenient rope or strap hanging nearby to hang onto? Maybe up against a wall or something? I am sure the zoo, Momotaro and the others will decide what works best for themselves. Maybe this has been tried but the swinging tire and balls were what they liked. Something new or different is always good and it seems like this zoo is open to trying out new things. I really love this show, the zoo and this fascinating gorilla family! Thank you GL for all your hard work filming and presentation. You do such a wonderful job to help humans understand the intelligence of gorillas, the need to treat them with compassion and to care about their protection and survival. Bless you. ❤️

I appreciate the super thanks. Day by day, the weather is going up. Gentaro still seems to get attention from Genki. At glance Momotaro has no interest of the family issue but he always gets close to someone to scold or save. Ps Gentaro had light indigestion.

I really like the commentary. He spends a lot of time there filming them. He knows a lot more about the gorillas than we do so I appreciate his opinion.🦍
