If Nastia Luikin and RIley McCusker fused into one being, they would be called Nasley LOL. Like Goku and Vegeta fused to become Gogeta LOL.#DragonballZ
boboy du also full split jumps. My pet leave at this level of gymnastic is not being in a complete split on jumps. That’s beginner level. Full split. This girl nails them every time :)
If Riley’s looking this good on Beam, there is less reason to take a specialist like Eaker on the team. It’s looking like Biles, McCusker, McCallum, Hurd, and Carey right now.
@@AiiCii so there is a four-person team and then two spots that Americans earned through the world cup process. Jade has already started working towards getting the points to earn her spot.
@@klt5756 I was prepared to say that all beam scores were inflated. But after other competitor's scores, I don't think so. The scoring was really all over the place on almost all events this meet. They did seem to favor Riley on every event. Good for her, though! Her confidence needed the favor, I think.
itsjust tae They pretty much gave her an extra .6 (at least) in difficulty by crediting very slow connections. The judges need to stop doing this. If those easy leaps and jumps aren’t done immediately, they should not be given the connection bonus. Her execution score was pretty inflated as well. International judges are not fond of pauses, and she has plenty.
Beautiful routine! I think that had she kept her knees straight and toes pointed on her tumbling skills, she would have really earned that 8.7 execution score. Hopefully she'll have those items down for Worlds where the judges won't be playing!
She does look taller but she’s 18 so while she might have grown, I think it’s more likely that her bun and the confident way she’s standing are why she looks that way.
Yeah... I love her and it was a really good routine, but the E score was just too high... not just her though, the whole event had some suspiciously high E scores. Didn't feel like they were judging to the same standard as they will be in international comps.
Agree. Her lines and feet are amazing, but that doesn’t mean she has as excellent of execution as the score suggests. The pauses alone would take her out of contention for an 8.7 execution at worlds, and the slow connections would eat away at her difficulty score. It’s still a great routine, but she does have room for improvement before worlds.
Great routine but have to say I dislike the repeated wolf turn. That move needs to be devalued. It actually is an easier turn for gymnasts to do as your center of gravity is low to the ground. Much, much easier....and that is why they do it.
Have you tried a wolf turn? I'm a former ballet dancer and gymnast. The wolf turn is incredibly difficult to both hold the position of the leg outstretched and maintain on the ball of your foot with increased pressure, as your center of gravity is down not out. It's difficult on floor much less beam. Try it.
I think she may have to get another coach. Something is going on. She is injured overtrained. Then her coach is being investigated. She needs to rest and get a game plan for next year. Because mostly likely they are going with 3 all arounders and one specialist . It is only 4 girls. She may want to go and train with Simone. Just somewhere else.
She looks good this year. She seems more relaxed and patient with her gymnastics in general.
If Nastia Luikin and RIley McCusker fused into one being, they would be called Nasley LOL. Like Goku and Vegeta fused to become Gogeta LOL.#DragonballZ
She's improved so much, so much more confident and her new series really suits her, also so much improvement on her dismount!
6.4 d-score, 8.7 execution. girl is NOT playing
this is a year later but she also took a 3 tenth step at the end - would have been 9.0. damn sis
She's on my team for sure😅 15.1 is crazy
@@huberttan007 sighhhh
Her confidence is through the roof!! Good girl
Geez Riley! Consistent connections and solid performance for days!!
I'm liking this Riley on beam a lot. She's not over extenuating poses and making good connections.
what?? Do you have any idea what "extenuating" means?
😂😂😂😂
pointed toe(s). luv it.
Such gorgeous legs! I just want more of a toe point on her layout series.

Her look is perfect!
Riley snapped damn
Good for her!! 😘👍 Beautiful routine, clean lines and a mature look. Very nice!! ♥️🤸♂️
The routine was gorgeous especially with the dismount!
I love her, she is so elegant
The best I’ve seen her look on beam by far
I love Simone, but I'd love to see Riley as world beam champion
Miss Wang gonna have something to say about that haha
Yes Riley 🔥🔥 she killed it last night
I gotta say, I DESPISE wolf turns, but I can’t get enough of the control and poise of hers! Truly is a queen🙌🏻
I am in love with her execution
Omg that score!!! Yasss, Riley!!!
Love Riley!!!!

carey not a specialist?

Sunisa lee?
@@AiiCii no, she recently started competing in bars, so she is an AA gymnast now
@@soapygirl83 oh okay. Thanks!
Wow😍😍 such a beautiful gymnast
Gorgeous! Come on RILEY
Wow great job Riley!!
absolutely loved it
,thank God one of the Elegant gymnast the USA has provide in the past 10 years,, goddess of the beam, I enjoyed her more than Simon,
i miss her ponytail
ponytail kept hitting the end of the beam lol
I love the bun! She looks so mature and elegant.
Stunning
Overscored but deserves a higher score regardless. She's like a completely different person from the last time I saw her.
Kim Williams how was this overscored???
@@jialimadden317 some of the connections shouldn't have been credited or at least they were questionable

Sooo flawless❤️
Her lines 😍
So clean! Nice leo too!!!
I'm falling in love for her
I love her Routine But the wolf turns in the Begining kinda 'destroy' her perfection and confidence
And if she would have stuck the landing she would have gotten a 9.0 execution and a 15.4!!
Ur my hero
She is really looking great
Those leaps though😍
Woaw stunning
Amazing!
I hope she makes it to the Tokyo 2020 Olympics :)

Did she have a growth spurt? She seems a bit taller than she was last time.
Wow was she great!!!
Where did she get 6.4??? A little overscored
They cant overscore a d-score. Her connections were all great so...
That’s her d score
@@cole99522 no they can if some connections where a little slow

She did great here but like...why the wolf turns 😭
FrancesBaconandEggs What’s wrong with wolf turns?
Her wolf turns were GREAT
I hate wolf turns as well. They always look clumsy. Why, God, oh why?
i hâte wolf turns, but she makes hers look very pretty and controlled, most people it’s a huge ugly mess
Let's go to Stuttgart with Simone, Riley, Grace, Leanne, and Hurd/Eaker
2020 if all goes as it seems it will
ok that scored freaked me out at first
Perfeita
Why she didnt go to world champions?
I feel like the score's just too high for this. Pretty solid routine, but slow connections and really tentative. Lots of pauses

Yeah I had her at 8.2, mostly because of the excessive pauses and adjustments.

Did she not just come in 2nd at her last world competition? She seems to falter under pressure... 2018 World AA... 🤔
Something worth noting is that her now old coach has been banned from coaching gymnastics due to being abusive
That was Church.
So beautiful and a whole new level of confidence. There are a lot of elite coaches who need to take cues from Maggie Haney: ARTISTRY MATTERS.
