“‘It is important to us at Pobl that as part of our commitment to the Masterplan and regeneration work in Pill that we promote the strengths and acknowledge the rich history and culture of the area, but more importantly that the stories are told by the people who know and love it best, and these films have captured that beautifully. There is a real pride in Pill and that was evident in the room on Thursday night when the community was able to share its memories on film, and in person after the screening.”

My grandfather whom operated "Tanner Commercials" used to pull the floats during the 80's As an young boy I would ride shotgun with my sister yanking on the very loud air horns with my grandad in the drivers seat of his unique and rare American bull nosed truck called a White. Yet currently now as a result of homelessness I am an "unfortunate" customer (victim) at the notorious Albert Street Crack House for 23 months @ £350 + charges per week , where the Staff and Management turn a blind eye to nasty individuals kicking off the room doors of others, theft, class A drug dealing and just general lawlessness and the worst types of anti-social and in-humane behaviour making the lives of others that who are genuinely homeless with a decent level of cognitive ability, good hygiene and self-respect.
