Usually, musical critics consider the last concertos of Haendel's op 6 as poorer than the first ones. Listening to that concerto tends to show that this is at least questionable.
What kind of critics said that stupidity? I have listened to all 12 concerts and they are of an extraordinary level. The concerto no 12 is for me one of the peaks of the baroque concert. Lyricism and serenity in the slow movements, a virtuous and fast 2nd movement and a brilliant fugue to conclude.
