Great Video. Love the philosophy of making room for other people's personal mythos. I think a lot of people (including myself at time) lose sight of that and I hope Star Wars is around for another 50 years so even our grandkids can enjoy it and do the same

This is a very level headed approach and I’m all here for it. 👍

I think head canon is fine but sometimes you gotta throw your hands in the air and admit it doesn’t fit and exclude a certain work. For me my head canon is:
    - Old Republic Era
    -Darth Bane Trilogy
    -Darth Pelagius
    - Phantom Menace
    - Tales of the Jedi
    -Anakin and Obiwan Comics
    -Attack of the Clones
    - Clone wars mini series (there is a fan cut coming that will remove contradictions from TCW)
    -TCW
    - Shatterpoint
    - Labrythinth of Evil
    - Revenge of the The Sith
    -Rise of Darth Vader Novel
    - Kenobi Novel
    - Solo
    - Bad Batch
    - Tales of the Empire
    - Jedi Fallen Order
    - Rebels
    - The Force Unleashed 1
    - Andor
    - Rogue One
    -Episode 4
    -Episode 5
    - Shadows of the Empire
    - Episode 6
    - Mandolorian
    - Thrawn Trilogy

Firstly, Disney is not canon. Secondly some Head-Canon also known as 'Fanon' exists to just fill in blank spots in the lore. For example, Fallout has some Fanon that involves a Ghoul President Trump leading a group of Enclave in Florida with Gold plated Power Armor. Does this make sense? Maybe not but it's funny and works off of internal Lore with the Enclave and Meme Logic.

It's much more easy for me. Remember the "levels of canon"? For me anything Disney does is "S-canon" at best, so it can be used if it doesn't contradict the higher levels of canon. If it does - I fully ingnore it. And yes, this means I ignore most of it. I'm just that old scool.
"Trawn trilogy" is the true "sequel trilogy".

This is partly the reason why I've been unable to enjoy Andor. Because it goes against my personal head-cannon. The best example for this is the imperial prison. When I imagine a prison in the Empire, I think of a concentration camp. Dirty and improvised, with horrible living conditions, sadistic guards and absolute no regard for the inmate's life. The prison in Andor felt too clean, too subtile, way too nice for the Empire. Of course it was a horrible prison, but nothing I would expect to find in an evil galactic regime run by a Sith Lord. Perhaps I'm buying in a bit too much into the idea that the Empire should resemble the totalitarian dictatorships of the 20th century. Like I think the Empire should be more fascist, when even in the original trilogy it was more of an authoritarian regime.
This is a huge problem, because I cannot blame this onto anyone but myself. I have made up a specific imagine in my mind what Star Wars should feel and look like and now I automatically disapprove of anything that goes against it.

    Luke Jedi order
    Is not realistic in legends
It creates decades to make a new religious order
