Arlovski is a Legend and a damn scary man! He was lightning quick, had picture perfect punches, and heavy hands with elite Sambo to match. He was quite literally The Perfect Fighter with a GIANT heart who was never afraid to fight anyone. His was an amazing career that should be celebrated to the world by the UFC. One of the first ufc events I went to was when he subbed Tim Sylvia with an ankle lock. I completely bought into the hype and thought arlovski was an unstoppable force. His fanged mouth guard added to the mystique but he wasn’t ever quite as good as I initially thought.
People say Andrei have glass Chin but he's Fighting HW Monsters all his carrer, Andrei never cut Weight to gain advantage the only Russian in Story HW Champion of UFC.
Used to like this guy just because his mouth piece. Thought it was so cool. Wish he had grabbed the title at least once more in his career but at least he's still fighting. Good for him.
My mom was in the room when I watched his fights during his prime and she used to say " Oh, its the really jacked George Michael". Legendary heavyweight and still going strong!
There was a time when Arlovski was a foreigner, but they passed a law because of him that anyone who has 40 fights in the UFC has to be a red blooded american, so yeah he's ours now. USA USA.
I've been a fighter for close to 26 years, and I now coach in my local community. And he is always been one of my favorite fighters. He might not have the best record, but it's the way he fights. He truly is a pitbull. He fights with no restraint, and he's not afraid to take a punch and take those risks. One of my all time favorites next to Don Frye
