Medic, you are the kind of RC'er that everyone should know! You tie in people to the hobby and are a great guy! I remember one time in one of you're videos you said something like: "I probably sell more RC cars then any dealer, and I don't even directly sell them!" so true... haha thanks! Keep it up!
hey rcsparks I watch a lot of your videos like 1 week ago I watched 32 vids!! after two days I got a rc thanks for getting me in the hobby. this hobby is fun and awesome.
I agree with Paul. Cant you make your own aluminium rims with a valve? Just drill a hole in them just as big as the hole in the plastic ones and sweep those valve into the aluminium ones. Thats what i would try. Love ur vids. Greetings
I noticed that the center hole on the rims is not quite big enough to allow the hex hub to go in all the way. I drilled mine out a little and the rim seems to fit better. Love the vids Medic!!
Medic, Gotta say, your videos are top notch. I've been a subscriber and avid watcher(trying to catch up from the beginning) for about 4 months now. I had a nitro touring car as a kid but wrecked it bad and lost interest. Kicking my self in the butt for not keeping it since I suddenly have the drive to build/repair. Watching your videos has definitely inspired me to get back into it. As for an RC of my own, I'm currently in the market for one. But anyways, as a youtuber your videos are super informative, entertaining, easy-to-understand for the noobs and I appreciate that. I look forward to the future uploads. Thanks for what you do and the inspiration you give to tackle big projects. Keep up the awesomeness!!! -Kyle
I love that wraith!!! KickAss build. I'm building a TTC Wraith too I'll have video posted tonight of the drivetrain. I managed to fit a castle 1415 2200kv 4pole brushless in lol wasn't easy. I was able to pull a 50lb dumbbell around no problem on my carpet.
I can see why the variable pressure is useful with the cold temperatures. I have RC4WD Twister alloy wheels and they seal air tight with no breather holes but I don't need more than atmospheric pressure in the UK so just get them right before I bolt the beadlocks tight... Sucks getting a puncture though...
that think looks bad ass DJ! it doesn't look symmetrical from it's little dents and bends in it, and that's bothering. but really, that thing looks AWESOME!!!!
Fun choice if words in this one lol too funny bro, great episode I put on a set of 2.2 super swamper/boggers on some plastic beadlocks while watching this, wow what a massive tire lol thums up buddy!
Always enjoy your vids.. but I have to say it cracks me up to see you use a little T-wrench to remove the wheels. Then again, you probably have a few dozen of them from all the RCs in the collection. ;)
Hmm, pretty easy fix! Well, at-least nothing broke in the front axle...That could have been bad. Man, I remember the first video of this thing...It was awesome then, it's still awesome today!
good video man i have what started as a drift car kit that i turned into a rally car with coustom aluminum lift and all well long storry short it had enough torque it ripped the center of the rim right out haha
Hey Medic great video Have you ever thought about taking some Aluminum Rims and installing a basketball or football valve into it? I don’t have the money or I would try it so thought I’d throw it out by you for some feedback Thanks and as always love the videos & best to the family Paul
paul taylor - That's not a bad idea! Even though nearly ALL Pro Drivers have proven that air filled RC Tires will never be as good as high performance, dual stage Foams.... I like them! I think for hitting a rough Trail, they would perform BETTER than Foams.
Any idea of how to push the valve back in the rim!? Can't seem to get it in!! Ahaa that's what she said. Any way, yeah a little help here, great vids man. Keep up the good work!
Looks like you might need to add a lug ring (a metal one) on the rim, put the bolts through the lug ring to distribute the screw force evenly all around the face of the rim? Basically cut a ring from some thin metal sheet and bore the holes, see what happens?
I wonder if the vanquish hubs would fit on the rims. Just file down the stock hub and bolt on the vanquish one. The rims almost look like the holes would line up, if they wouldnt then maybe making new holes. Dont know if you have vaquish rims to try it out but maybe something that would make the hubs stronger.
Hey medic ... You should switch the the scx10 hexes they are flatter and have better contact surface to the rim ... I had to switch when I got my Gmade on my Wraith
Hey Medic! I usually use a bit of thread lock on the axle nut, and usually do not slide. I use it on my savage and so far it works. By the way, where is the Capo?
I know this is a stupid question but I am new to the hobby. I have a wraith and I got the gmade rims but when I put them on for some reason they do not sit down on the 12mm wheel hex all of the way. What kind of wheel hexes do you use? Any help you can offer will be much appreciated. Thank you so much I have learned a lot just from watching your videos. Please let me know when you get a chance.
good video man but i have a question I'm getting a rock crawler but i can't choose which one do you think is better of the axial scx10 honcho or the scx10 jeep wrangler
I finally have (two) reasons to get new tires, one bead locks look awesome and two I blew out my back tires with my first brushless motor (castle sidewinder 3 pole 4600kv)!!!!! It was awesome!!!!!! I still can't find the rubber that flew off!
Hey Medic, I'm running the same wheels on my Wraith and really do like them. I do have a question though. How do you manage to apply air to the wheel and when finished remove the air nozzle and insert the nipple without loosing the desired amount of air? I seem to loose quite a bit of air even working rather fast and putting some extra in knowing that I'm going to loose some and now with all that I really end up with different pressures in each wheel. Any advise would be great. Thanks again!
Dear rc sparks, I'm 12 and I love these videos! But I have one question about my rc and I figured you would know. I recently got a Helion Dominus for Christmas it is a 1/10 scale. I went to hobby town or something and asked if I could put bigger wheels on it but they said it would break my engine. So my question is how will the bigger wheels break my engine, and if they won't just tell me I don't know much about my new rc besides the fact that it's cool
Hey brother, where do you get your g-air wheels? I've been looking for a set locally but it looks like I'm going to have to go online to get them in the great white north. Cheers
Hey I'm new and have a question, what is the purpose of a differential? I mean couldn't you drive with a damaged one? Even though one wheel wouldn't have as much torque, couldn't you use the sterringt o cancel out the effect temporarily?
You could but the truck wouldn't be as capable as the tires that have grip wouldn't get sent any power and the tires in the air would sit there and spin.
It doesn't look like the hex hub on the wheel is very deep. It doesn't appear that the hex on the axle would seat very far into it. Maybe that's the issue? It also looks like the hub blossomed so maybe a bit more plastic in the redesign for that area or even a metal ring to keep the plastic from expanding.
Medic, you are the kind of RC'er that everyone should know! You tie in people to the hobby and are a great guy! I remember one time in one of you're videos you said something like: "I probably sell more RC cars then any dealer, and I don't even directly sell them!" so true... haha thanks! Keep it up!
One of my (YOUR) favourite trucks ! Amazing wraith !
hey rcsparks I watch a lot of your videos like 1 week ago I watched 32 vids!! after two days I got a rc thanks for getting me in the hobby. this hobby is fun and awesome.
Great vid. Just finished building my Wraith kit the wife got me for Christmas. When the rain stops here in Wales I can take it out.
"Not as Climatic as I would have liked"....... That's what she said!!! Sorry Medic had to say it. Awesome vid.
Love seeing your old vids man! I grew up watching you and you got me into the scale hobby world!!!
love the idea of actual air filled tires.
My friend i just looked at the very first video of the black widow and man have you beat that machine up!
I agree with Paul. Cant you make your own aluminium rims with a valve?
Just drill a hole in them just as big as the hole in the plastic ones and sweep those valve into the aluminium ones.
Thats what i would try.
Love ur vids.
Greetings
Ur a good and smart persone bro
Your kid will have an awesome sense of humour ;) Awesome video dude!
I noticed that the center hole on the rims is not quite big enough to allow the hex hub to go in all the way. I drilled mine out a little and the rim seems to fit better. Love the vids Medic!!

That truck is so AWSOME:-) keep the videos coming medic.
Cool, i like the air filled tires. hummm that gives me an idea!! i saw that vid when you broke it. glad it was just the rims!!!
Those rims and wheels are pure boss m8! 10/10
I love those tires and wheels

Allways have to turn down the volume when watching Medic's vids :D
Me to. That guy talks too much.
Haha :P Not exactly what i meant, The volume on your videos is higher then most others. anyhow, not a problem :)
sweet medic i remember when you guys were first building it, now on the gmade rims it didn't do any damage to the wheel when it snapped the beadlock.
Medic you should do a video on setting a Spur, mounting a motor, and setting a pinion. Everything related to the gear box.
2 medic I appreciate all your videos man you always put out quality...I'm definitely picking up a set of the G mades keep the awesomeness coming man
Those do look nice. I may pick a set up!
that think looks bad ass DJ! it doesn't look symmetrical from it's little dents and bends in it, and that's bothering. but really, that thing looks AWESOME!!!!

Thanks man for answering so fast, keep up the awesome videos
Sweet vid man
Always enjoy your vids.. but I have to say it cracks me up to see you use a little T-wrench to remove the wheels. Then again, you probably have a few dozen of them from all the RCs in the collection. ;)
Like the rims and tires. Just not the price of the rims. I do want a set of tires for crawling down in the south. Keep up the great work.

Hey Medic great video

Besides, you could always drill a hole in your Rims, and install the Football valve!
Any idea of how to push the valve back in the rim!? Can't seem to get it in!! Ahaa that's what she said. Any way, yeah a little help here, great vids man. Keep up the good work!
Glad the widow is back up you gonna tackle the wall again?
Look awesome
Keep up the great vids medic!
Although I live in Michigan I do go to Toronto, I love the snow
Always a great episode to watch ! Shared, liked ;) thanks man for all the work !
Looks like you might need to add a lug ring (a metal one) on the rim, put the bolts through the lug ring to distribute the screw force evenly all around the face of the rim?
Basically cut a ring from some thin metal sheet and bore the holes, see what happens?
right on dude, when we gonna see you do the repairs on the Beasts rollbar? Looking forward to that, I love that truck.
That's what you get for showing off doing backflips 🤣🤣🤣
Top vid

Hey medic ... You should switch the the scx10 hexes they are flatter and have better contact surface to the rim ... I had to switch when I got my Gmade on my Wraith

I usually use a bit of thread lock on the axle nut, and usually do not slide. I use it on my savage and so far it works.
By the way, where is the Capo?
Do you still have your erevo and if so please make a unboxing video I'm dying to know your expertise on it and any upgrading you would suggest.
I know this is a stupid question but I am new to the hobby. I have a wraith and I got the gmade rims but when I put them on for some reason they do not sit down on the 12mm wheel hex all of the way. Hey deep pockets if you mount and tighten the rims the proper way they wont strip out !
hey medic,
can you mount any tires to those gmade rims?
keep up the great work
I have a crawler and I love the suspension I just want a little more speed out of it whats a good upgrade on parts?
Awesome...=)
Hey Medic what links are u running on the black widow, I got axial aluminum ones on mine and I keep busting rod ends.
very cool. can u post a video on how to build a 1/10 scale size that would be coool
hi medic. I just want to know what tires were you running on this rig and where did you get them? thanks. :)
Hey medic i just got an axial scx10 honcho what do you suggest to buy and actual dcale chevy silverado body
Well, just an idea Mate, would it be possible to "glue" that air intake on the inside of the rim for more stability ?
Best Jannick / Denmark
Havw you thought to mill off the plastic hex and drill hole to mount VP slw hubs?
nice job not bad for 1 year of bashing
Yes...... another OLD Video! I've gotta know - WHAT Tires are those, and where can I get them??
Carmine 🚂
red rock imex 2.2 .... discontinued.
I think ill look for the parts to turn a set of air up aluminum wheels. Thats why we have Grainger.
some one told me my dad was an rc so I said MY DAD IS NOT AN RC, SO I THREW IT ON THE GROUND.
O wow I didn't even need to read the whole thing I knew ware it was going
lool once I Get My Rc Fixed Imma Do Some Vids On it
Haha! Soo funny! One of my favorite videos. Threw it on the ground!!
Hey brother, where do you get your g-air wheels? I've been looking for a set locally but it looks like I'm going to have to go online to get them in the great white north.
Cheers
Medic, don't know if ya got the budget, check out Harley designs inc. awesome chassies!!!!
Hey Medic I was wondering how fast A stock Axial scx10 goes.
Hey medic what tires are you running on the black widow??
I have an e revo 1/10th, and looking for any air filled rims? any ideas? also wanting to mount on trencher x?
I'm new to RCs cars but I d have one what would be a good started for dirt tracks
Hey medic was wondering if you could tell me the name of those tires on the widow, look awesome
IMEX RED ROCKS 2.2 :)
medic just wondering cuz where i live it gets up to 120 * and the lowest ive ever seen was 25* how hot does it get where you live in canada
would you recommend these on a honcho or would they be to big
What tires are those? Look sick!
imex red rock 2.2 Krawler
Hey medic for the honcho RTR what is the size aluminum steering rods and aluminum links for bottom thanks
Medic do the rims come with the air pump.
I'm getting a redcat vortex ss desert truck. It's a nitro 3.0. Why do u think of them
