Good list but I kinda wish you’d go over why the drop/rise and more into why it’s good. Right now it’s mostly overview of the game, which I get since not everyone knows all the games.

To be fair, I haven’t played LEGACY OF YU, HOPLOMACHUS: VICTORUM, BOOP, or SKY TEAM yet because I don’t often play solo or two-player games. I also haven’t tried THROUGH THE AGES, ABANDON ALL ARTICHOKES, or THAT’S NOT A HAT yet, and I don’t like POTION EXPLOSION.
As for SCOUT, CUBITOS, THE CREW, and BÄRENPARK, I’ve had good and bad experiences. It’s starting to sound like I don’t like anything on your list.
But the rest are solid picks that I totally agree with! 😊 WOODCRAFT, ARNAK, AGE OF INNOVATION, EL DORADO, WORLD’S FAIR: 1893, CACAO … all great games! And I’m super excited to try INVENTIONS!

I appear to be the exception. I definitely prefer The Crew: The Quest for Planet Nine over Mission Deep Sea.
Yes, the story was silly, but the missions really tried to match the vibe of the story, which was completely gone in Deep Sea (not to mention the story being even worse than in Planet Nine). I also felt like in Deep Sea some combination of mission cards were MUCH harder than others, so mission 30 might have actually been easier than 25, despite having the higher difficulty cards.
Don't get me wrong, I still enjoy playing it a lot, but yes, I definitely prefer the first game over the second.

Until last week, I thought it was necessary to go as far up the research track as possible to win a game of Arnak... and then I got destroyed by someone (My wife) who only focused on Guardians and it made me like the game even more!
I don’t think you have to completely go up the track, but I do think you have to go up a little bit.
That’s awesome!
