    As a Spanish speaker 있다 and 이다 are not that hard because we have 2 different verbs ("Ser" and "Estar") just as they do in Korean but in English "To be" covers both instances. I didn't realize how hard it could be for English speakers until I saw a Korean grammar video in English that confused me to no end, and that was with me understanding the concept perfectly before.
    So thank you for making clear videos that are actually answering questions instead of making them.❤️

    Thank you so much! I do have a question though. I read in another textbook that if you wanted to say, "this is a book," they used 이거 착이에요. However, would it actually be 이거 착이 있어요 since we are referring to an object?

    I read in a book 어딨어요 and 어디 있어요 in two different places. Does both of them have a same meaning except the spelling varies or is the first one a mistakenly written form? Please, help.

    • @GoBillyKorean
      @GoBillyKorean  4 года назад +1

      어디 있어요 can be shortened in speech to 어딨어요 - it's the same thing just said more quickly. But I recommend writing 어디 있어요 because writing 어딨어요 can look a bit slang-y.

      And a lot of American soldiers stay in Korea too.
      And I saw some missionaries as well. There are many ways.

    Have you ever thought about breaking down the Kim Jong Un letter to Trump? This part sounds really fishy "Your Excellency".
    I know it's kind of old now, but you could still use it to do a translation, and then highlight a few select words that you'd like to teach us. 감사합니다
