    Wow Adam! This review was fantastic! You really did an amazing job, and unbelievable this is your first video. The editing and images that you added really made it very professional, and hope it didn't take you too long to film. We'll add a link to your channel on our eau de cupcakes channel, so hopefully you get a few extra subscribers. I'm looking forward to your future reviews. Take care, Andrew

      thank you andrew! this means a lot :) actually, it took long, but that's normal if you're a beginner, i guess. but the editing took even longer. i downloaded Davinci Resolve literally like 2 weeks ago or so. don't have a lot of experience with it yet.
      my goal is to make 1 video per week, but you'll have to wait a bit longer for the next one... probably. don't forget to "ring the bell" ;) ! haha

    what a great, outstanding video. It´s a pitty that there isn´t more content like that around instead of all the hype-beastmode-pantydropping screaming... Your comment on parfumo and this video gave me the last push to explore "Vanille Tonka" (amongst my growing love for this intersting brand) - and I simply love this well balanced and most unique piece of work! Thx and I hope you´ll come back to making more of this great content - unfortunately discovered it only recently...

    wow what a fantastic video! Good stuff Adam, nice to put a face to the name. And yup you're right about frankincense, can be quite citric (same goes for good sandalwood and rose too!)
    Enjoyed, I'd actually try this - as, like you its name would put me off (also dislike vanilla)
    Great presentation and editing on this
    Was that Shalimar in the bg? :)

    • @thescentsofme
      @thescentsofme  5 лет назад +1

      thank you steven.:) yes, that was a Shalimar hint. they both have unique and "dirty" vanilla in their base (but overall they're different of course)

      summer is probably not the right season for this scent. it would be too heavy and cloying. fall, winter and early spring, i'd say.:)

      @@thescentsofme so here is the story. I Go to twisted lily in N.Y. often and can never find scent that's just right, universal, unique but not too moody, wearable etc. I was smelling this line and smelled vanilla Tonka and it instantly resignated with me. I went on to ask sales rep if it were a feminine scent, she gave the unisex answer. I'm a man looking for a man scent, and your vid assessed this directly. I think u put me over the hump and will pick it up.

    • @thescentsofme
      @thescentsofme  5 лет назад +2

      @@chaconjohnson well... i wouldn't call this a "man scent", but as i said: it's okay for everybody, a real universal scent, that leans a little bit masculine. it's definitely NOT a typical femme vanilla. you'll enjoy it ;)

    Where did you get this please?

    • @thescentsofme
      @thescentsofme  5 лет назад +1

      well... in europe obviously.:D i don't know the american online shops well, but i've heard the name Lucky Scent like 1000 times in other videos, so just checked it and they have it. the good thing with Nicolai is that their prices are SUPER fair. if you buy just the 30ml bottle instead of the big 100ml one, you pay only ~13% more per ml. by other brands you'd pay 30-40% more... . so that ca. 60$ for this quality and (simple but) nice presentation is a no brainer. great value.
