    When I bought the spoiler for my vector the guy gave me a pre drilled boot lid as well. Ive Cut it out and used it as a template .. 😆

    As always 1st class video! Guess the video will inspire other saab channels to make a video about this too 😉 soon… Keep the good stuff!!! 👍👍

      Serious Q: are you being sarcastic about other channels making similar videos to me a few months after mine publish? I was beginning to think some were doing this.

    C'est une vidéo qui tombe à pic car j'ai justement prévu d'installer le mien !
    Malheureusement on ne vois pas les graduations sur l'image que tu as mise en description, peux tu faire une mesure sur la longueur du coffre entre les feux ?
    Merci d'avance 🤘

    I guess the double sided tape could be to prevent leakage from the screw holes?

    • @CycloneCyd
      @CycloneCyd  Год назад +1

      It's only at the ends, nowhere near the holes. I can only think they found the ends of the spoiler vibrated against the boot panel, which would damage the paint. Despite it being zamak (mostly zinc, some aluminium).

      AND the fixing studs and locators have foam washers on them to seal up the holes. Just seems strange, but we'll never know

    Hi mate. I have a 2006 93 aero with rusty rear arches. Can I ask you how much it cost you to get them sorted?

    • @CycloneCyd
      @CycloneCyd  Год назад +1

      All in, about £1400. Proper job though. New wheelarch panels. Old ones cut out, new ones welded in. Rust protection and paint. Pauls Motor Body Repairs in Barwell near Hinckley. Thoroughly recommended.

      Seen on 0:56 yellow things inside the boot lid.

    Does that spolier provide down force at saab jet speeds 🤔😲🤣💪

    • @CycloneCyd
      @CycloneCyd  Год назад +1

      I would imagine so. The 9-3 is a very aerodynamic car and doesn't seem to suffer rear end lift at modest speeds. I can report that my Aero is rock solid at 150mph. I would think the spoiler is helping at that speed.
      I had a Rover 800 Vitesse Sport before the Saab. That didn't have an extra spoiler, BUT if you see one (not many around anymore) you'll see the boot lid has a spoiler built in to the boot lid panel.
      Going further back the spoiler on the hatch of the Rover SD1 Vitesse provided 135lb of downforce at 100mph

    Hi Cyd Can you advise please how I can get another fob key and how to get the security code as very few Saab 95 1.9 TD station wagons here in NZ.

    Rear lip spoiler or winged rear spoiler... hmmm... decisions. 😀
    Well, since it is this easy to remove the lip. I might as well buy a Maptun sporty steering wheel and a rear wing.
    Then depending on my mood I could change between the lip and the wing.

      As long as you have the holes you can swap to your hearts 💕 content

      ATEOTD it's up to owners how they mod their cars, what others 'think' is irrelevant really.
      But, yeah, I much prefer the subtle look. I've always preferred the Q-car.

    Excellent videos Cyd. Could you possibly make a video on how to clean the MK8 Fiesta ST injectors. 🙏 🙏 🙏
