In era of smart charging i think it may limit the charging by 25 W adapter too just like phones. It will charge by 18 W in 25W adapter too
Yes, as I've faced an issue after fast charging my personal Powerbank so, i decided to share it with others as well. One has to charge these with a maximum 18W output charger!
correct there is no concept of overcharging anymore. even if you use 240w charger it will charge up to 20w/22.5w and not do any damage. However, his powerbank that got swollen that happened due to it's age and life cycle of the cell's inside.
That's only possible if my power Bank is very old which is not the case. Try using your 240w charger with your powerbank regularly and see the results 🙂
@@_gtech9 No man. It will take whatever watt it's designed to take. You can search this online. I have used 130w charger to charge my Poco f1 for years and nothing happened. Charging is pulled not pushed. Where i have also used 20w charger to charge my power bank and it got swollen within 7-8 months. Just because your power bank got swollen does not mean it happened due to the charger. There's a lot of other reasons. You can check online about using high wattage charger and the myths about it. 😉

It's good, still giving good backup (but obviously less than Xiaomi power Bank) heating/warming will always be there in all of the wireless power banks 👍

It's actually a nice thing that power bank requires to be turned on for wireless charging, since it also doubles as stand.
Its perfectly fine to use higher or any wattage USB C power delivery (PD) charger, always use charger from a proper electonic or mobile company such as.. Samsung, Apple, Oppo, Realme, U green, , Baesus, Anker, Belkin etc. avoid likes of.. zebronics, protonics, vaku, stuffcool and the likes.

Using a faulty charger or a hardware failure in your power bank caused your issue. Not charging an 18W device with a 30W charger. Many of us have been using USB chargers of all capacities for decades. I think introductory physics should let you know that that statement (to charge only with an 18 W charger) is pure nonsense.
Hi Varun, firstly i would tell you that the engineers are already educated and well versed with the Physics you're telling here while manufacturing!! People like you suffer from Phone/Powerbank Blasts and then blame the company in return which the company isn't responsible for.
Secondly, i would suggest you to adhere to the changing standard given on the box/packaging of a particular product.

@@_gtech9 The rates max input power on the box doesn't mean that you can only charge with a supply of exactly that capacity. Device draws the power that it needs and power supply can provide what is asked or limit it. Even a 100 Watt supply will only provide 12V 1.5A supply if the device only asked for it during handshake/negotiation. If there is an error, that means the device is faulty. Put some more effort in your work before spreading misinformation.

Xiaomi's this powerbank was actually launched back in 2020, just after a few days of Mi 10 launch in India, this year they have relaunched the same powerbank just by adding the new Xiaomi branding.
Spigen is offering lots of things in this price segment, which is really amazing.
Overall a great video with a good explanation.

About the life of Wireless Power Bank, i will say it's the same as a normal power bank and depends upon your usage patterns too. Though these are good quality power banks, I'll suggest buying the Xiaomi one as it has more output in terms of battery output/backup 👍
