I have Tarte Amazonian clay foundation. I find it really shows my pores and wrinkles. It looks so caked on me. I have tried a little and my usual amount not a lot with different applications. Any tips it's my first expensive foundation and I would like it to work. I feel like I am applying it wrong or something. Help
Use a buffer brush like the Morphe Y6 and even out a thin layer of foundation on your skin. Also try using Benefit Porefessional primer. It helps with my pores
I have to add argan oil to that foundation and I still don't love it. You probably should invest in a different foundation when you can. A lot of people find that on to be drying and cake-y, so you're not alone.
I'm older, and it heads right to my lines and wrinkles. The first time I wore it, it looked great when I left my house. MANY hours later I looked in the mirror and was so embarrassed. I can't believe I walked around my office, met with clients and colleagues, attending meetings, and went out to lunch looking like a cake-faced prune!
I add a drop of maracuyá oil and always apply it with a brush.
Maybe it's not for you skin type ! But I would recommend you to use a primer first and maybe a beauty blender :)
