This is one of my favorite games to co-op and even with a buddy we're lucky to get to Stage 8 on expert! You make it look easy, I definitely took notes!
I just played this game few days ago , but I have to say this is best double dragon game ever made . Can’t believe after 20 years this game releases, now I can play this first time . Wow , this game so fking awesome 👏

Best playing I have never seen. I uploaded mine but I don't know why I think I'm the only one who like the elbow move. Starting this kind of play to have life insurance fast.
I don't know why my man at about the 2:13 mark or the incoming boss didn't didn't capitalize on their god given talents and go into the NBA/NFL or something. They'd kill it at the combine as those verticals were crazy
Nice play! I have done mine also with another move in my arsenal because with only 0 life no continues, I needed a way to have an extra life quicker. And maybe you'll inspire me to do another one.
Awesome playing. Super clean run on the truck stage. In my 1 CC Expert run I always lost a few lives on that stage. Ive only completed that stage without deaths a few times during save state practice. Really nice combos with the headbutt mixed in for juggles. Even more impressive that your doing that on a small keyboard. Destroyed those fuckin clones. Good shit! Those bosses ended many of my runs, even when I kept the sticks. Alot of isolated save state practice and some parts still fucked me over again and again. Super impressive work beating that fuckin timer in the final stage. (4 seconds left. Super intense. Crazy grouping,juggling,comboing on the final boss n minions). While I utilised some of the same traps on enemies, your KILL speed is about 2X as fast as mine. I assume you really need to have that level of mastery to beat the timer on the final stage. Seems like a programming error for sure. My run took a little over 60 mins if I remember right. Still have it up. (the successful run. Over 35 hours to pull it off) Great use of dynamite to lure the enemies, enemy grouping and juggle combos. Didnt realise you could do a 3 hit air combo. I did use the uppercut + knee combo quite a bit originally. Played it safer in my 1 CC expert run in the end. Super fuckin entertaining. Thanks for posting this up. KEEP KILLIN THAT SHIT !!
Its been a long since I played this game, what does Expert mode alter? Is it something simple like just the time, the damage enemies do and the health enemies have? Or is it something more complex like the AI and aggressiveness of the enemies? Enemy placement seems the same.
The big two differences that I can think of are: - Enemies have much more health. Feels like more than double. - Enemies dodge a lot more. You just can’t assume that your strike is going to be successful. So you have to dodge also and seek a better positioning always. Besides that, enemies seem just a bit more aggressive. For example, big guys will command grab you a bit more. The rest is pretty much the same. The enemies do the same things when walking and trying to outflank you.
The only big mistake about Double Dragon Advance: Shoehorning everything from DDII and Super DD into the game instead of making four reboot games like how Super Mario Advance did.

Something the arcade couldn't do, you cannot throw big enemies, or switch weapons. Besides it's not bad.
Also throwing lady enemies too. in arcade, one kick or two punches can knock down lady enemies quickly
