Right!?! 😆 I didn’t think of that
@@FindingTheForce Also: Why there is always a little jump cut in the movie. And also why the actor always seems to have moved just slightly compared to the frame before the cut. xD lol
@ it's really noticable with obi wan vs Vader in the first film
That's certainly the practical reason for it. But if they were real, you wouldn't want to be moving them when you turned them on in the first place. That's a sure way to not have control over your blade from the get go.

I love how Mark delves right into explaining how it worked like it was a long lost childhood toy he just found in the attic. It shows just how passionate he is about his role
I wish I could say I respect Mark but he has become a bitter hyper political nut.
Shows he played the role yeah. Always weird when someone tells someone something that the other person was there for lol
What was he meant to do say oh this garbage and throw it away lmfao.
Ask him about his role in wizard and he’ll start gushing I bet money he would

@@BattleSpew The answer to that question determines if he walks out with it or if Mark has a much larger collection
Mark is such a wonderful example of someone who moved on in their career and accomplished so much more in it, but still holds a special place in his heart for the one that put him on the map. He knows how much meaning, enjoyment, and lifelong gratitude he has from longtime fans of Star Wars and has accepted that he will always be known as Luke Skywalker, regardless of every other spectacular role he has played since then. He embraces it, and in doing he also embraces all of us who adore him for it.

The sense of joy in Marks face and voice. It made me shed a tear of joy.
You can hear how excited he gets when he find out it wasn't a replica. Mark is such a cool guy you could always tell he cared about the story
yes and Mark is a real wise Jedi, a true lucasfilm OJ not just a disney pawn. even though he may have acted for them, he knows the disney of today has no place dipping their fingers in the star wars saga.
Mr. Hamill is a genuine fan of the genre, and related venues. Comic books, especially.
@@lowco9575 he’s still a libtard tho sadly
i mean he wasn’t that excited
Please. All he cared about was the money in the sequels. No way do you have the big three in a movie and they didn’t get 1 second of screen time together. They were all cool with it.
He treated that saber with such respect. So many stories written and lives touched because of that prop.
So wholesome
Mine and my cousin’s childhood centered around Star Wars. So many toys at Christmas. Even approaching 30 years old I feel like a kid again during the holidays because of this franchise.
The light saber is probably the most iconic cinema weapon. Cant think of another one.

@N VL exactly! Given his enthusiasm it’s just hard to believe him/his character would do such a stupid thing.
This was a thousand times better than when he got his lightsaber back in the Disney sequels
Yes, because unlike Disney, Mark actually has love and respect for Star Wars, and his time spent helping create that universe
I wish Disney had properly explained what happened to Luke’s green lightsaber. It made two appearances in 8 and 9, but other than that, it wasn’t shown hardly.

I met Mark 12 years ago he is so sincerely happy to connect with the fans. It was an amazing experience

Mark Hamill's awe and nostalgia to seeing his old lightsaber is what we were missing from Luke in TLJ
Yep. Thanks for nothing, Rian Johnson.
Everything and I mean EVERYTHING that makes a good Star Wars movie good was missing from the new trilogy
It was all just for Rian’s ego. To be able to say he “spin it around” probably. So absurd. Not only did they had the chance and blew it of reuniting the old cast and make movie history while leaving everyone happy, but they also ruined the characters just out of spite and narcissism.
Don't confuse Luke and Mark! They aren't the same. Luke got old and crotchety, while Mark is the same 20 year old from 1977.
