Mi unlock is stuck at "checking for security issues..." how do I fix it ? :/
Do you need a sim inserted the entire time while waiting in the 168 hour period? Or can you just insert it for the initial making of the mi account, and/or again on unlocking after waiting period?

why do we need a fresh SIM while as no other utuber suggests that...anything specific with you?
dose not matter if you do not want to use new sim card
in case if you already have a mi account then go for that
if in case that same mi account giving trouble while registering it to xiaomi server while unlocking bootloader then i suggest to create new account with new sim card, easy and quick procedure creating mi account
does my data get deleted when mi flash unlock tells me to wait 7 days, or does it only get deleted when I put my phone in again and unlocked successfully AFTER 7 days?
for the first time the data remain there, but after 7 days unlocking the data will get erase

no need to add account again after 168 hours of wait, just sign in to mi unlock software with same mi account and unlock

Mine keeps saying "Could unlock Please add your account in MIUI's Settings > Developer options > Mi Unlock Status " WHICH I HAVE ALREADY DONE and double confirmed that it was added, and it did say approved too
you need to create new mi account my inserting new sim card and simply creating it then adding it once again to mu unlock status then definetely you will get 7 days and wait for it then unlock. hopefully this will work, because this is xiaomi and things does not go fine some time with it

I just checked, No Indian, no indonesia rom available for mi note 10 lite which have mi dialer and mi sms app.
But there are EEA rom and russia rom available, nowni have flashed EEA rom on redmi note 9 but no mi dialer, google dialer, but i didn't flash russia rom yet on any device.
And there is one more rom available which have mi dialer and that is Europe rom but it require custom recovery for flashing

Why is it that if I download the mi flash unlock the version is 5.5.224.24. not 3.5.1108.44 they have different files in them pls help.

you must install drivers first, easy way to install drivers to install mi flash tool 2017 version. fastboot driver will get install automatically

Mi flash tool 2017 then extract it and install it on windows 10. So drivers will get install after connecting mobile phone with windows booting into fastboot mode.

his is getting ridiculous...I mean I bought a Xiaomi thinking of getting che call recording option (as in my older Redmi) but this isn't an option on EU phones so the need to install an Indonesian Rom - but if in order to get that function on my Redmi Note 11 I have to do all this crap?! (and this is only to unlock the bootloader? and what next?) I'd rather sell the European version and buy one directly from Indonesia.
I'm not a complete beginner and installed custom and official ROMs in other phones but this is for masochistics (I mean wait 168 hours?!) - there is no doubt some of these steps are simply a way for the manufacturer to make it as difficult as possible to escape from their control - and these 168 hours are very suspicious indeed - in that time (if I'm not careful) they will be able to steal all my data from the phone and maybe also from my pc...better to keep the phone aside - not using it at all for a week or so...then if we are lucky we get the phone unlocked?! Or maybe they (at xiaomi) will keep us waiting till all our data are stolen? Go to hell Xiaomi (maybe I'll sell the Redmi Note 11 - the new Miui stinks too - without doubt the most invasive ever OS interface I've come across - in fact Google and Android in general are becoming more and more invasive - kind of start thinking to switch for Apple? Enough said...

Incase if you have removed your mi account during waiting time period then it will never get unlock. You need to register new mi account with new sim number then try unlocking and when you get 168 hours then do not remove or sign out from mi account for 7 days
