What I really love about her being a mentor was, she never raised her voice. But her word was so powerful. People say that yg make her become like that. So what if that was true. She know what the best for the trainee. She know how the feel of being a trainee and how should a mentor lead the trainee. Beside, she just being strict when it come to the dance class & practice but I'm pretty sure that she's very sweet to the girls behind the camera.She's doing really great. I'm proud of her 💗

So then she danced with her to build her confidence. It was almost like Lisa was saying, "You can do it, sweetie. Just persevere till the end." ya’ll, she’s there for a reason lmao. People can have multiple opinions on her mentoring techniques, so it’s normal for people to view this as “rude”, “mean”, “harsh“, or the like. Personally, *this is one of the perfect examples of what mentoring is like.* She was chosen to be a mentor because clearly, Lisa knows her shit in dancing, so ya’ll can’t really judge her for acting the way she is on the show because she’s just doing her part. We all know Lisa is competent based on all of the BP performances that we’ve seen. Although, I do agree that this kind of mentoring could either appear to be helpful or not to the trainees, for it all depends on the ability of the trainees to handle constructive criticism.

Everyone who is saying she’s being rude or harsh clearly have never had a hurtful teacher. Lisa even smiled when they forgot some parts!! She could have made a nasty face or stopped them right that instant but she instead helped them!! And to top everything she gave them a good speech about their abilities and how they had to step up. She’s doing nothing that is not for their sake. She’s indeed a very good mentor.

The way Lisa mentor the girls is just the best and suitable for the show and the girls. Some dance mentors will really shout on you and sometimes foul words will come but to Lalisa she's still calm and throwing the perfect words to internalize and use it as a motivation. 💜🙏

this is why i like lisa being a mentor, she never lets out her anger and frustration at them, but instead says touching powerful words to keep them motivated. i dont know what yg did but the way lisa helps them solve their problems is a very mentor like way. she is the perfect person for this role.

i think lisa is an amazing mentor, she's hard and strict on other people cause they're alot higher levels then these are. This is a low level, so it's bad to put pressure on them and be strict when they're still only learning, the others on the other hand aka the higher levels she's strict with cause they're alot better than these people so she needs to pressure them into doing better and well cause they're expected of more to do amazing. She may have been a little more strict at the end but that's cause she needed to correct her, on higher levels she would've never helped them like that and have immediately stopped the music and scolded them.

Considering that Lisa is a "dance super computer" who could just "scan" a choreography and then dance with power, ease and grace, her being "strict" actually shows her patience and humilty.... She makes them understand the gravity of what's at stake without making them feel worthless. Lisa is only giving them the proper push.

I dont think Lisa is harsh enough to tell them if they straight up aren’t good enough - you can tell she’s still kind and encouraging enough to push them and push them until they might finally get it, but what if they simply aren’t good enough? It’s sad because no amount of encouragement could make them better
