The entertainment businesses is so, so competitive. You don't get second chances. People like Lisa are great because she makes everything look easy and like she's having fun when God knows how long she's been working that day! When someone makes it look easy, that's special. Her advice is valuable and I believe she is showing that she cares about the trainees and also her own reputation.

I would give everything to have a mentor like Lisa. Someone who’s a true professional and isn’t afraid to tell you exactly what you did wrong is exactly what anyone needs to become their best selves. Of course it’s always painful when you’re trying your best and someone you look up to points out your mistakes. It’s frustrating so it’s valid to want to cry, but that’s the driving force to constantly become better than your past self and eventually succeed.

I honestly think it’s so disrespectful/hurtful to single out members like that “she’s dancing it wrong” like who the fuck doesn’t know themselves?? It is not constructive criticism, by signalling her out it doesn’t help her in any way and as a result she gets more nervous and doesn’t perform well. I’m also in the opinion that it’s more important to enjoy dancing and put your heart in it than getting dance moves on sync, but Lisa seems to not be teaching any of that

Someone already said it on twitter, but “if you think she’s being rude you obviously haven’t taken a dance class.” The best dance teachers are the ones who are tough on their students because it pushes them to work hard. If Lisa was softer on the trainees they wouldn’t try as hard and they wouldn’t realise they are doing the small details like the heart sign wrong
I'm glad I don't have twitter. Most people I see in these comments are praising her and honestly I have become a HUGE fan of her because of her honesty and strictness. Those people just want to drag her for unnecessary reasons. Lisa knows what she is doing and damn I'm really impressed with her!
My dance teacher was always like this, I'd didn't matter if you were an advanced dancer or not She told you what you did wrong. Never sugar coated anything. If you did something wrong she went up and said it as it is.
As a dancer I think that really helped me because it pushed me to give it my all and do a better job. so what Lisa is doing isn't mean at all. She knows what shes doing and she wants to push them so they can be successful like her.
My dance teacher used to call me a prissy little bitch every time i fucked up🤣🤣 Lisa is actually being really nice! There are some teachers out there who would make you wanna cry and mine made me feel stupid but bought me champagne afterwards 🤦🏾♀️ she’s making them better at dancing because that’s what she’s the best in, I saw a comment somewhere saying that she’s being really rude and not considerate to their feelings and it made scoff
exactly what i was going to say. This applies on ANY kind of teacher or instructor as well. if they go soft on you, you'll never realise how bad you're doing, or how important it is; and then you won't try because you think it isn't serious.
From an educational perspective, being tough doesn't help. And she shouldn't bother because they don't know some details like it's something they should know. They are trainees

I rememberer in an interview no one was allowed to speak english to her so that she would learn Korean language quicker that is why she would always stay up late than the other girls because aside from practicing she has to double time learning Korean quick. Imagine practicing dances with a language barrier, then she always excell, man Im so damn proud of her.

I just saw a pic of YG's president with a shoe in his hand while coaching and he told the trainees that this shoe will land on you if you fail to do it right!!! (There are some pics that show how strict the montors in YG just shown in Blackpink YG thailand facebook)

Y'all would criticize Lisa if she's too easy, and y'all are criticizing her for being too strict. Personally, I would rather have a mentor who knows what they're doing rather than one who is easy on every trainee. Being a competitive dancer myself, this is the norm - it takes discipline and drive, and obviously, she's going to hold the trainees to the same standards she was held at. If they can't get something down as simple as counting down fingers in time, netizens are going to tear them apart. Their role is to be an entertainer and she is simply preparing them so they can be the best - if they don't want to put in the effort or better themselves, then what's the point?

Exactly! I'm a dancer too and being trained like what she do would be a great previlige. In no time, you'd really improve a lot.
I'm not a dancer, but I can say that this applies no matter what you decide to learn. I'm a programmer. Imagine if I wasn't dedicated to learning and improving. Eventually I'd be in a situation where I've worked on something important and it stops working and causes massive financial losses.
Respect what you do, take it seriously, always try to improve.

Many people are critizing Lisa because they say that she is being so strict,but in reality,she did not come to make friends. She came to teach and help the apprentices to be better. So please,don't criticize for stupidities.
But then again,she came to help some TRAINEES to get better at dancing and all that!! Like she even got mad because that one girl didn’t smile, don’t you think she was to harsh on them. Because I know they are learning they are not pro dancers like Lisa.(I’m not hating I love Lisa with all that I have left in my heart so don’t get mad please!!!!)
@@hobisunflower3440 that's the purpose of the lesson though, if you're performing everything must be perfect from the movements to the expressions. Trust me it is similar to a theater rehearsal cause I've been on one
Hobi World You obviously haven't taken a dance class before. Some mentors are even harsher than LISA. You do notice that most of the best dancers in the world have VERY, and I mean VERY harsh mentors. If LISA was soft at them, they wouldnt be as good of a dancer and they wouldn't learn quicker and learn to focus on small details.

Hobi World not really. Lisa is there to teach them and make them learn from their mistakes. Her being strict is her caring that they do it well and they don’t embarrass themselves.

Right? Dance moms would be the moms and kids crying, ranting, and having angry fights. Not to mention Lisa is literally just like my parents. Her being strict is nothing to me.
I think she's just being stern, and far from harsh. I didn't understand why people said she was being mean; anything but imo. Plus us dancers usually just get used to being yelled at lol we all go through it 😅
