Nice to see someone just buying stuff they like! I collect all kinds of off the wall stuff, and I sell nothing, but the hobby makes me happy, and thats what matters (regardless of how sad the wallet gets or mad the wife gets lol)
Lol this is why I shop in the $1 bins and don’t own any graded books yet. I can afford to do so but I have a very fickle relationship to comics that is on and off so I don’t feel that bad if most of my comic books were purchased between $1-$5.
I recognize a lot of books from those boxes that I have purchased from your live shows! Haha

I’m new to collecting but for me that G.I. Joe #21 Newsstand is the best book in that box.

I too was very impressed with his Fantastic Four issues.Some beautiful covers with just a little Silver Age to season the collection. And the seller is a pretty decent but remarkable artist himself with a strong sense of colour, knowing which shades go well together to accentuate the illustrations. Also i like but also love modern age comics and not only read but collect a lot of modern age comics Also i not only like but also love both Silver and Bronze Age Comics as well, Also What a score DC Marvel and Independents Congratulations, Also thank you for sharing Angelo keep up the good work stay safe out there in Florida, and i hope you and Sara have a great day.🙂💪🦸🟢 6:27 am.

Me personally the only thing that peaked my interest was the fantastic fours. I just don't deal in the modern stuff, but to each their own.

Did he say that box was worth 3K??? Cause if he thinks that he’s crazy. I saw very little I would’ve got. And no where near 3K.

Only just recently discovered this channel as IV started to now start collecting myself like on a serious note I used to just grab a few which I liked etc and now keys and such are being added to my collection and IV been bonging this channels videos the past few days and I love it 😊❤️

I like modern and collect a lot of modern but I prefer Silver and Bronze Age - seems like they will carry a better value in the next twenty years.

I buy what I like and sell w/e. Usually volumes that I read and no longer need. I don’t need to buy every single book that comes out especially #1’s lol
Just a question : Where are Indies Comics by Crumb, Shelton , Spiegelman , Wrare ...?!!! No Indies" ? No "International" comics (Europoe / Franco-Belgian )

seems a lot on this channel is collecting, only for covers, titles be damned, if it has a nice cover i'll grab it. Not bothered reading the story. i can't even think of getting books for covers, when i see a book with a great cover, but i don't read the title, or am interested in the character, i won't give it a second thought.
collecting for covers makes no sense, the only thing you are left with is holes in a collection, a collection of nothingness.

Yeah I hate to be the bad guy again, but this is not a real collection. These are random modern comics, most of which will end up in the 1 dollar bin before you know it. Exception on the FF comics, they will keep value. If you paid half of what he thought it was worth you paid way to much. As JJ Jameson would say "Crap, crap, ...more crap" But then you like the Skottie Young art (sigh) so you probably paid too much. Don't buy that crap, in a few years it's all worth nothing. You will be bankrupt before you know it. Thank God Sarah is making money with her job...

He didn't mention what he paid...But I'm assuming it was half the marked price?... Myself I probably wouldn't be interested in most of it at that price.

I'm not a serious collector. I buy modern DC variants as long as they're below $10. Why? Because I love them. That's good enough for me.
I'm not in it to make money. I'm 70 and just don't have the energy for that. If you can collect books you love AND make money, GREAT!

I would have paid 50 maybe 75 for that collection . Bunch of dollar book trash in there
