Hi! Have you installed sympy as a library? If not, that might be the reason why.

my jupyter is showing that sympy is not found and modulenotfound error

If you have jupyter notebooks through anaconda, then typically the sympy module is installed. When the sympy module in not installed, try going to the sympy homepage and make sure that you have installed sympy correctly.
