Weirdly this has kinda explained my life for the past 3 years.
I’m a few days off of anti depressants and I can finally experience proper emotion again and I can feel the rays of sunshine come back slowly.
During the last 3 years I also isolated myself from everyone because I didn’t think anyone cared. And it’s hard hearing this song for that reason.

My go-to band for lyrics is mewithoutYou. a lot of post-hardcore/emo bands from the 2000s had a great way with words
My band is definitely Casey.
After being in a 9year relationship that ended i can relate to alot of songs from them.
Lyrics hit pretty hard..
And wow, that song hit me super hard. And when the other band members dropped in, I lost it :'( Very relatable and similar to my current situation (but with a friend who supports me etc. and could be seen as the light in the song or smth like that).
In any case; stay safe and I appreciate you opening up a bit about your mental state etc. And the best we can do is just do our best at the given moment, I guess. Vitamin D supplements and typrophan or tyrosine could help, though, maybe. But yeah, hope it gets better or smth. This doesn't need to be the norm is at least what I know from when I came out of this again for a bit 2 weeks ago for a week :')

Probably Make Them Suffer or Sleep Token depending on my mood in more recent years. There was also a massive period of my life where i really connected to Twenty-One Pilots lyrics.

I'd say Silent Planet and Every Time I Die are a given for me. Though personally, I feel Boundaries is slept on a lot lyrically.

I was going through some rough stuff the day this song came out and it said exactly what i was thinking and feeling inside. I cried like a little baby when i first heard it, i discovered these guys through you bogdan and theyve been my crutch ever since and them dropping this song on the exact day i needed it just tells me how special of a band they are. I love them and that youve posted these guys' music cause its really helped me, so thanks!
My lyrical favorite bands are definitely The Amity Affliction, Citizen Soldier and especially Linkin Park. They help me through every hard time.

The instrumental overall really matchs the vibe on it s own you got very viby ambiant instruments with guitars with reverb that fill the whole room and make you feel like in a cave and the resolution with the impact sounds very much like sunshines coming through with a door of hope hopening at least that s what I got from it
This sound is what lost from many metalcore songs these days, old sound of Being As An Ocean. This is my first impression to this band, and I'm sold. I'M SOLD.

A lot of people hate on Whitechapels The Valley and Kin but those have to be my favorites from them bc the lyrics hit really hard in so many of the songs, you can really picture the story of Phil’s childhood and his relationship with his family and its also just a great mix of different songs, proving a band doesn’t have to do the same genre of music their entire career

This song is amazing. As for my go to lyrical band...its still Bad Omens. The Grey was the first song to ever make me cry from the lyrics, but that being said, Sleep Token have some incredible lyrics too

Starset is definitely the band I'll go to for lyrics, Sleep Token is getting there with their layered depth but as far as actual memorable lyrics that goes to Starset without question

I think that the main bands I go to for lyrics are I prevail, disturbed, and brand of sacrifice. there’s just so much negativity in the world these days, but the lyrics these bands use in most of their songs just gives me a feeling of “I can do it” and “I can’t be stopped”
