Call of Duty: Mobile represents the best the juggernaut franchise has ever been on a handheld platform. The leveling path is rewarding, even without spending money, and there are lots of modes to jump around between, including an impressive battle royale mode. Unfortunately, it is still a shooter controlled by a touch-screen with no bluetooth controller support - even if it's impressive despite that, the accuracy and usability will still never be as good as its console and PC counterparts.

It's very important PUBG takes 35-40 minutes for a win while as COD takes only 15-20 minutes for a win.

PUBG mobile has a much larger main map thats why. Theres a ton of open area in PUBGM compared to CODM
PUBG Mobil has more active players and more tournaments.
All things aside though, this is probably the best FPS on mobile.

you can play it on pc by an official emulator by the game (itself) developers called gameloop with mouse and keyboard
When this game was first announced, plenty of people were upset that a game with so much classic COD content was mobile only. So the complaint is valid

I had no issue with the controls and found the game quite fun, it's basically the same as any other Call Of Duty game except on your phone (and that portability is awesome).
And this is coming from someone who hasn't enjoyed Call Of Duty since MW3, this really is a fun game.

This is the first mobile game that actually feels well thought out. Reminds of the BO2 style gameplay. Great to play on my iPad .

Rhys Malcolm I’ve never liked pubg so this is a much better alternative. Never really enjoyed the slow paced gameplay of battle royale. This feels much better in my opinion.

This reviewer really isn't used to mobile controls at all , cod Mobile has the best controls for a mobile shooter at the moment and the aiming and movement can feel very accurate and responsive.

well people have been been playing pubg mobile on android emulators since it came out and nobody complained about it , i've been playing all kinds of mobile games for about a year and a half on an android emulator

This is literally the best FPS that’s ever come to mobile. Since scores are all relative this game deserves at least a 9. Not to mention they’re going to be adding even more content to the game with zombies.
This is typical ign. There rating system has no relativity. The pro and cons hold no weight and there explanations are so lackluster and casual. it's a shame that this brand is mainstream because the journalism here is sub par.

@@Mufc479 they have over 30 million players, i am sure they could fracture the player base into controller and non-controller populations. So that evens the playing field. Or even yet, pair the controller people to the emulator people using mouse and keyboard. Tencent does that for pubg (emulator players paired up with other emu players).

For a mobile game this gets a 9/10. Free, great gameplay and graphics and lots of modes to play. Missing 1 point for all the PC people playing with mouse and keyboards smh.
Learn how to review a mobile game Gives it a low score because touchscreen and mobile smh.
Pc and emulator users or controller users get put on separate emulator servers so they don't mix with mobile players.
Well then it should get a ten because the mouse and keyboard players get pit on a seperate server
The low score is warranted because touchscreens can be intuitive and unfun in many cases for games like this

Honestly, the game is pretty fun. If you’re having trouble with the controls, switch the firing mode to automatic, it’s a lot easier to control.

The micro transactions present are purely for cosmetic purposes and the controls are some of the best controls for a mobile game I’ve seen. I feel that the diverse customization in how you control the game, the incredibly optional micro transactions, and the great gameplay completely invalidate any negativity ign had for this game. I’ve been enjoying my time with it substantially. Also as a final point, this guy compared a mobile game to a console quality game, and criticized its controls based on that. I feel this review is incredibly inaccurate
Marco Duarte because they’re designed to be money makers instead of being an actual enjoyable experience for the user. They’re typically filled with microtransactions with progression tied to it and just aren’t very fun.

I thought that it was going to be reslly clunky but honestly it's a really fun time.

I'm honestly blown away at how tight this game controls with the touch screen.

I am from future ,Call of duty has improved a lot beyond expectations..Monthly season updates.. New weapon skins..Old tier system removed ,This is amazing and more better as compared to PUBG
Downloaded it and played a bit last night, actually I'm impressed. However I don't usually play games on my phone and I will probably give up on this in a few days, but if you were to bring it to Switch so I can play with normal controls I'd be into that.
You can make the buttons transparent. So the buttons won't bother much while playing.

Linkiburk Gaming the game has potential; regarding the controls and overall gameplay feels clunky and a lot of times unresponsive, often delay on haptic feedback etc. I have played a decent amount of mobile games and pubg mobile gameplay is more responsive (note I play on the iPhone XS) however within a 1 year or so of updates I think progressively cod mobile will be on part to a 7.7 score.
Meister Proper ok it’s not the best FPS on mobile devices nor it’s the first so your incorrect, a lot of games run smoothly on 60fps including pubg mobile which is quite a shocker.

I was shocked how fun this was. I haven’t played any sort of mobile game in years, but this is actually fun. The on-screen buttons don’t bug me since my fingers cover them anyway.

First, Call of duty Mobile does support a PS4, Xbox controller, and a PC Keyboard. You said that the buttons cover the screen but you realize it's a mobile game right? You are comparing Call of duty Mobile to Call of duty MW or these high graphics games like Codm should look like that. Please think better.
And, if you can read the name of the game, it literally says MOBILE and if you ever played a *M O B I L E* game, you'd easily know it has a touch screen.
