Looks like you could've used a mattock for some of those removals. One of my favorite tools that doesn't get enough credit. Great for removing small stumps and roots. Haven't tested it on bigger trees yet. I assume it beats out the Pulaski until the roots get very large. Another great video where the hard work is humbly completed.
Mattocks are absolutely AWESOME tools. Alas, mine is still across at the old place across the creek. I’ll bring ‘er over before I do any more grubbing.
