How truly wonderful to see that craftsmanship is still alive and kicking. I am now retired, but I worked as a precision engineer for half of my working life, and there is nothing quite as satisfying as seeing your labour of love come to fruition. Thank you for this video...!
I love how you weren't content to just do butterfly keys; you put dovetail keys in the corner...then you were like, "wait, what about INLAID corner dovetail keys?" Insane craftsmanship on this and beautiful design.
The best wood craftsmen highlight natural features in the wood and find clever ways to add stability to their projects. The butterflies were genius and gorgeous too, really excellent.
I'm over here still trying to get my 90's and 45's down that I don't know how many more coffee tables I can make!! This shows amazing appreciation to wood craftsmanship. That was 15 minutes not wasted and thank you for the presentation.
Besides the incredible craftsmanship on display here, your creativity is something like I've never seen before, there are simply many levels of amazement here for me! Thank you so much for sharing this.
That was fantastic! Simple yet elegant design with those dovetails. And salvaging that split instead of using it for small projects was great! Thumbs up!
this is beautiful! The street of the house we just bought is named after a butterfly species and we really need a kitchen bar, so I may take inspiration from this wonderful build. Your hot glue-acetone-clampblock trick is brilliant! You all make it look so easy. Thanks for taking the time to edit this video and share your work.
@@destroy788 Hello friends, while browsing the internet, I came across a book on how to do some woodwork, I think you should take it and read it. amzn.to/2wlYQsP
Nice Job!! Is that a home made jig for your circular saw or is that something you saw and made your own version of? I want to know what nuts didn't like this project and why?
A beautiful imagination at work! I love this kind of video. Clear, to the point, shows every move, no annoying music or technobabble. Liked and subbed!
wow - thanks for sharing. So many skills on show, it's just as well there is a pause button. More than anything, for beginners like me, it's an encouragement to go ahead and do something. Cheers Marty
Your videos are new to me, just stumbled across this one and I'm damned well impressed. You must make a lot of these to have a template made to cut off the dovetail keys, so I imagine that accounts some for the smooth work flow. I really liked the way you attached the stretch. Something new and novel you don't see anyplace else
What a unique and stunning piece of furniture. The angles and imagination that went into the side piece is beyond amazing, thanks for sharing the video

Amazing technique, skills and craftsmanship.
Wow❗️
An initial glance at the finished table does the work involved no justice. A superb piece of wood skills going on here.
I beg to differ - there were far too many examples of dangerous machining techniques and injury inducing use of hand tools.
Fortunately TRTF you appear to be in the minority on this one
Absolutely stunning ! Love the butterflies. Thanks for sharing

So that's a version of super glue you used, I'm assuming. Where do you source the acetate to dissolve the bond?
Just stumbled upon your channel and saw this build. It is unreal how complex and precise your work is. Well done! I’ll be following from now on.
