Welcome back to the Breast Cancer Diaries
thoughts before I have my fake boobs removed. I decided to have the implants put in after my double mastectomy back in 2019 because I was in a place that I didn't believe that I would be able to love my body without them. But since then I have come to the decision of having them removed for many reasons but the most important reason is because they are not who I am and they are not enhancing my life. I am a true believer that if you want to do plastic surgery to enhance your body that is your choice and there is no judgement. I will always pose the question, are you doing this for you? or are you doing this because you think it will magically fix all of your problems within?
This will be the last episode of the "Breast Cancer Diaries" as I am cancer free and it's time to move forward.

My name is Aubrey Kyung and I beat stage 3, triple positive, HER2 positive breast cancer for the second time since 2019. Join me as I share my visual diary as I beat cancer for the second time.
I had 6 chemo treatments every 21 days over the span of 3 months. As well as a shot 24 hours later to help boost my white blood cells. All of this will be done via a port on the left side of my upper chest right under the collarbone.
I am now having regular maintenance treatments with immunotherapies every 21 days. I will also begin a regime of radiation beginning in January 2024. Join me as I move through these energies and continue this human experience.
