We do not. We need to ensure the harness provided matches the exact part number it is going into or it could cause further complications in the vehicle. That is not a risk we are willing to take. All product involved in the upgrade would need to first be tested and inspected in our testing facility.
I have a 2011 F350 with the "Premium" sound system. It's got an 8" sub, and sounds very good for factory. Would I need the complete kit you're offering still? (Amp too?)

The included steering wheel switch that comes with the kit may not need to be used if you have the phone button already. Other then that we have not encountered this issue in years so this should have no issues. The programming on this was changed a bit and this no longer occurs.
I see this is a video from 7 years ago, but noticed your radio tuned to 101.1 WJRR in Orlando, so I happen to be local and would like to know if you are still doing these upgrades for people that are local. If so please send me a reply.
Cool! I am currently trying to fix an electrical problem on the truck, that seems to be caused by a bad SCCM. Since I will most likely be shopping for a new part at salvage yards, I will see if there any of the specific model SYNC radio and amp are also available too.
If the reverse camera is in the vehicle already from factory the wiring will already be pinned into the main connection harness. If it is added after the fact then it is likely RCA so it would need a new connection interface to intergrate into that radio. Or it would need to be hand pinned.
I have a 2012 f250 with the same radio in this video and a wrecked one with the navigation radio amp and everything can I just use the wiring harness from the wrecked truck
The wiring components that you would need are the same components that are included in our Ford Sync 1 Brick 8 kit. infotainment.com/shop/interior-accessories/amplifier-sound-solutions/ford-sync-1-brick-upgrade-kit/
It would then have to be repinned into the new vehicle and that is a little beyond what we would ask of our retail customers but if you are comfortable then that would work. You would just have to have the radio programmed to the Vin of the vehicle and then that should take care of things.
No we do still offer this but we do need to update that link. Thank you for bring this to our attention. Here is the new link: infotainment.com/shop/interior-accessories/infotainment-radio-upgrades/2009-2016-ford-f-250-f-350-superduty-sync-1-gps-navigation-radio/
@@Infotainment_navi have the radio shown in the video and an xl truck without sync. I swapped the radio and you can barely hear it as you point out and that’s what brought me to your video. I think all I need is the amp and wiring harness, but I also can’t connect to the bluetooth. It says connect error-see dealer. Is this because my truck doesn’t have sync? And what can I do to fix this?
That makes things challenging as Ford does not offer a solution to add Bluetooth. We cannot add bluetooth to the vehicle but we can update the radio to a Navigation unit.
You might have accidentally disconnected something from the Sync. I'd advise rechecking where you installed the plow harness and inspect any connections nearby.

I already have a emplifi and I have to install a backup camera on the Chinese radio. my question is, do i need the installation kit if i already have a gps antenna, emplifi and sub oem and i would like to know also what is the connector for the rear view camera and if that takes programming. thank you.
Since we do not sell that radio we recommend you going to the company to where you bought the radio but we do recommend buying a OBD Genie Backup Camera programming kit for your rear view camera

Yes. This is a complete factory replacement unit.
Can I update my truck with this old system directly to sync 3?
No unfortunately if you have this radio you can go to the Sync 1 6.5" Nav radio but not the Sync 3.

That makes things challenging as Ford does not offer a solution to add Bluetooth. We cannot add bluetooth to the vehicle but we can update the radio to a Navigation unit.
@Infotainment_nav what's cost?
will this work with Apple CarPlay?
No unfortunately this is the radio before Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. You would have to have a 2017 to gain that feature.
I heard you need to program the cars vin number as part of the install. Is that true? Thank you
We will do it for you.
Will this work as a monitor for an aftermarket back up camera?
Yes. Let us know you've added a backup camera at time of purchase so the unit can be programmed accordingly.
Installed a plow harness and now mysteriously the Bluetooth on my radio is missing. any ideas?
You might have accidentally disconnected something from the Sync. I'd advise rechecking where you installed the plow harness and inspect any connections nearby.
Nice
Thanks!
If your truck doesn't have sync does that extra harness compensate for that
No, SYNC is included in a module that comes with the kit. You can contact our tech support for any further questions 855-636-6287.
