  • The X1 is the smallest car in the X family. But when you look at it for a while and compare it to other cars, it's actually quite big.

So if you would turn the system of on normal Roads, while driving fast enough you could imitate the reaction in the snow? I'm considering a 2016 but since it's frontwheeldrive-based, I'm pretty reluctend.

I'm not sure which system you mean. The traction control?

      Pit-Stop yes traction controle.

If you switch traction control off completely, then yes, wheels will spin when too much power is applied, whether you're on dry, wet pavement or snow. Not recommended to do so, especially in more powerful cars as you can lose control and direction.

can anyone tell me what 18d means ??

That's the engine badge on the back. In older generations, this signified a 1.8 liter diesel engine but nowadays those numbers do not directly correspond to engine displacement any more but rather a number the manufacturer has decided to use for a certain power output.

it just means it is limited electronically to 150 BHP instead of the 190 the 20d has. An the same engine as the 25d Same engine, same drive train. You can easily chip tune it to 190-210 BHP/400-450 NM and it will work perfectly. Its mostly a tax thing that they tune it in different levels. AND its cheaper to use the same engine with different tunings than to produce 3 different engines ;-)
