Steve Perry was also King Arthur's singing voice in this animated film, "Quest for Camelot". You should have reacted to the video for this song if you are wanting visuals. It includes footage of the film behind Steve while he sings along with an orchestra.
Steve Perry is one of the former lead singers for the band Journey. Steve Perry is the original vocalist for one of Journey's more well-known songs, 'Don't Stop Believin''. It is still the most downloaded song of all time.
@@jaybrielakoi7747 Yeah, he's a pretty big deal. He was dubbed, "The Voice" by Jon BonJovi, and all his peers will tell you he's one of the greatest singers EVER. He pulls a lot of inspiration from Sam Cooke. Listen to Sam Cooke's "Cupid", and you'll hear the same vocal styling Steve uses.
In 1987 Agnetha Fältskog did sing a song called I Stand Alone, but it is an entirely different song than this. Lyrics, tempo, melody, arrangements, everything about it. Definitely not the same song. Most likely an error on Wikipedia's part. If you ever get a chance, check out some Journey videos and some of Steve Perry's solo work. So amazing, can't really go wrong with anything you pick. I have so many favorites, but here are just a few that I think you would really enjoy. Journey - Mother, Father (Live In Houston 1981: Escape Tour) Faithfully (Official Video) Open Arms Lights When You Love a Woman Lights - Stay Awhile (Live 1980 HQ Re-mastered) Amazing compilation!! * I don't think that this compilation has ever been reacted to, you'd be the first. A few Steve Perry solos: Oh Sherrie Foolish Heart Missing You Anyway I hope you get a chance to check these out, take care 🎤🎵🎶👍
This song was written by the great David Foster!!! And I do believe that David is playing the piano! So how would you have rated it, if it wasn't a movie soundtrack?? As a Perry fan, I believe this song is great!! Love the raspy in his voice, in certain parts of the song! And love the strings behind him. Perry said some years ago, that he would love to his with the strings!! In this video he does. However, 'October In New York' (from his latest album Traces) he did!!!
Steve Perry was the Lead Singer for 10 yrs with Journey check out Escape Tour 1981 Live in Houston Don't Stop Believen, Stone in Love, Who's Crying Now, Open Arms, Wheels In The Sky, Also Faithfully, Separate Ways, Lights, Only the Young, Girl Can"t Help It, Foolish Heart, Steve is called the Voice, He is one of the Best if not the Best Singer in Rock History.
This is a nice one. (Although If Barry Manilow had done the arrangement that key change would have been much smoother 😉). Steve Perry has one of the most outstanding voices … sometimes I just sit and shake my head and say “How does he do that?” . I’d like to hear more of him…
1 of the best performances 🎭 from Steve Perry. No 👎 The Wikipedia article is wrong. I have the Greatest Hits CD 💿. Corrected credits: Written by Steve Perry, David Foster and Carole Bager Sager. Foster is on piano 🎹 and orchestration. Produced by David Foster. He works with many all-stars from Bryan Adams to Neil Young. Suggested recent video 📹 David Foster and Morissette Amon perform The Bodyguard medley.
Yeah, that first key change was really rough and Steve was out of tune on that note. I don't know why they didn't have him do another take. Maybe the producers were being deferential because he's a legend? Speaking of his legendness, I hope you'll do a reaction to a Steve Perry/Journey song from the 70s or early 80s, when he was in his prime.
I keep checking you out but over and over again I am stung by his little you know about music, time. I feel no live or understanding from you. Study. Please.

Steve Perry has one of the greatest male voices of the pop/rock genre. Journey with Steve Perry is just incredible.
David foster wrote this song, one of the best vocals Perry has ever done. Period.
There is a live version with a orchestra behind him.
Right. That's the one he should have reacted to if he was wanting visuals to go along with it.
The voice invented for the Rock Ballad! Awesome!
The amazing Steve Perry!!!

This isn't one of my favorite Steve Perry songs. He's got an amazing voice and has done great songs with Journey!
It is a sound track.
This was written by David Foster and Carol Bayer Sager. You should know who they are. If you don't, look them up.
