Just finished watching the press conference, what strikes me is, if you didn't tell me his age I would think he's 50+ and been doing this for 30 years. In my own line of work, software engineering, this is the type of person we always look for. I have been interviews where people have just crushed it and you come out astonished, I have no doubt he did the same in his interview, love his approach and focus. New era starts now!

Blowin the 49ers apart? They had 430 yards? 15 penalties. I get the 5 turnovers are impressive but come on be real.
And they scored 19 points. From people saying they are a top 5 offense and top 10 defense... Sf scoring 19 points ain't shit and losing by 2 tds says alot...
Also consider what they did to Detroit, Seattle, and quite a few other really good teams. That Baltimore defense was absolutely elite last year.

@jaysonsorensen594 I get it. Mike is also a first time head coach. So patience is a must. We have to allow him his growing pains. But over the scope of his time with us. I truly believe he'll turn this thing around and win a lot more games than he loses. I'm pretty excited about this hire. I was originally sold out on getting Ben Johnson, and had we got him I would have been excited. But over the course of the last 2 weeks Mike Macdonald shot to the top of my wishlist. I really believe we got the best coach possible for our team. Now he needs to round out his staff and hopefully find a great young offensive mind with some concepts that we haven't used with Pete and Waldron and just get our offense playing like they truly should be playing. We have too many elite pieces on offense to not be a top 5 offense year in and year out. I believe Mike can get us top 5 on both sides of the ball. That absolutely pumps me up!!!! Go Hawk's!!!!
