I think they didn't even want to take a side in this because it sounds like Lex and Don were both friends to them. They only chose to fire Don because he was a liability to the channel and company to keep him around when he has this accusation tied to his name. It doesn't matter if the claim was true or not, that accusation is forever tied to him, so from a business perspective it makes more sense to just cut him out instead of keeping him around. They can't say this publically and didn't say this in their response videos either otherwise people will misconstrue it as them defending Don which, considering the court of public opinion has already deemed him guilty with no proof of him actually assaulting Lex, is something that will get them even more shit. They have to throw Don under the bus and disavow him and cut him off because trying to even be neutral on him will get them so much shit

I don't think allegations should be tossed, even if there isn't evidence, but it also can't be used as proof of them being guilty, just because an allegation exists. What should happen, is that the an unsubstantiated allegation should remain in limbo, until additional facts can be uncovered that prove either guilty or not. I find it seriously disturbing how seriously people take allegations that seem absolutely outlandish, and lump them in with accusations that are way more likely to be true, or have more substantive evidence behind them, and having seriously bad allegations in the same group with legitimate believable claims makes every other claim seem or look worse by just being associated.

So Ethan and Nick needed a plan. In comes Leighton. Leighton felt slighted by supermega and was looking for an opportunity to take them out. He conspired with Nick and Ethan to create some major drama in order to eliminate supermega whilst also proving to everyone that NickisnotLex. But he is Lex. “Lex” makes allegations, Leighton lays it on too, and then Nick comes in to defend “Lex” (himself) Viola, now Nick and Ethan can be together, Supermega is defeated, Leighton gets his revenge, and Ethan can lie to himself and not accept his own gayness.

No, I think most people do come to you for relatively unbiased takes. You seem to be a well adjusted centrist, which makes you an attractive channel for reviews of drama. People don't just come for the drama alone. If they did, they'd be attracted to the channel that enrages them most with moral indignation so that they could share righteous anger with the other denizens of the web.

Sexual harassment in the workplace can be very vague and unless you’re getting solicited or outright molested then you should really speak to the “harasser” and tell them you either don’t like their jokes or how they’re speaking before you decide that HR needs to discipline an employee. For people who have no job I’ll explain that even overhearing a couple of coworkers talking about someone OTHER THAN YOU inappropriately, that can be deemed sexual harassment just by you taking offense to comments that have nothing to do with you. You can also “harass” someone if for example, you’re dating a coworker and a third party finds your workplace flirting to be uncomfortable, that can be deemed harassment. Another example is if you’re sharing a raunchy meme with a coworker during lunch and a third party sees it and takes offense. It’s also not uncommon for a company to reeducate their employees on a subject when employees violate certain policy or when employees repeatedly fail on some aspect of their performance.
From experience I can agree with this. I had a colleague say some inappropriate stuff completely unprompted with no prior flirting to me in private, add on top PTSD from SA and I was extremely distressed. Because it was vague and I didn't want to deal with HR especially as it was so minor. I told him when I was safe and calmer how that was extremely inappropriate, I don't want to be physical or intimate with him, he made me extremely uncomfortable and to never speak to me unless it's work related. Fixed the situation. We work together just fine, there was no drama and he's respected my boundaries as well as given me space the rare times I'm in the office.

I think they didn't even want to take a side in this because it sounds like Lex and Don were both friends to them. They only chose to fire Don because he was a liability to the channel and company to keep him around when he has this accusation tied to his name. It doesn't matter if the claim was true or not, that accusation is forever tied to him, so from a business perspective it makes more sense to just cut him out instead of keeping him around. They can't say this publically and didn't say this in their response videos either otherwise people will misconstrue it as them defending Don which, considering the court of public opinion has already deemed him guilty with no proof of him actually assaulting Lex, is something that will get them even more shit. They have to throw Don under the bus and disavow him and cut him off because trying to even be neutral on him will get them so much shit

What makes no sense to me is if Lex was truly traumautized by the supposed SA commited by Don, why did she proceed to engage in a long distance romantic relationship with him across a contitnent for a further year before breaking up with him when he finally comes back for Creator Clash 2. What should happen, is that the an unsubstantiated allegation should remain in limbo, until additional facts can be uncovered that prove either guilty or not. I find it seriously disturbing how seriously people take allegations that seem absolutely outlandish, and lump them in with accusations that are way more likely to be true, or have more substantive evidence behind them, and having seriously bad allegations in the same group with legitimate believable claims makes every other claim seem or look worse by just being associated.

But people became suspicious, people could see that Lex is clearly Nick with a bad wig. So Ethan and Nick needed a plan. In comes Leighton. Leighton felt slighted by supermega and was looking for an opportunity to take them out. He conspired with Nick and Ethan to create some major drama in order to eliminate supermega whilst also proving to everyone that NickisnotLex. But he is Lex. “Lex” makes allegations, Leighton lays it on too, and then Nick comes in to defend “Lex” (himself)
Viola, now Nick and Ethan can be together, Supermega is defeated, Leighton gets his revenge, and Ethan can lie to himself and not accept his own gayness.
This is a fun fanfiction, but it leaves out one person in this entire situation being Don.

Destiny going in moreso blind doing his own commentary/reaction and research using other sources that chat would either link him, or something he'd ask for makes his take more level headed/unbiased to make a channel video using directly his own 3 hr research after Tom gave him the tl;dr.
However, i do agree that i liked Tom reaching out to D for his opinion and hope he'll do it more in the future.
@@HaraQuinn oh I think Tom did great in explaining what he could and just roping Destiny into this in general. I was kinda just joking at how funny that beginning was with Tom trying to explain it all and Destiny trying to keep up. It was funny.
I’m very glad this all happened and in the end put more eyes on how much of a snake Nick and his little circle of merry mates is, and I loved seeing Destiny tear his videos apart over what was obviously just a hit piece. Not the first time Nick has done shit like this and I’m sure it won’t be the last, but hopefully next time even more people call him out on it, and his little friends too.
Tom also did a phenomenal job as well, I can’t forget to say that either, Tom killed it and he definitely deserves all the credit for starting this all off in the first place. Claps all around for everyone involved.

Hopefully, another co-op collab again soon to help someone else in clutches of 14 year old cancel mob parasites like nick and his fanbase.. Ngl im relatively new to all the people mentioned, but i've been making my rounds and its interesting seeing all the dynamics between everyone. Its low key like internet GoT. I actually started watched hasan and nickisnotgreen, around the same time as Tom, (then vaush and destiny) and i have slowly been unraveling all the different relationships. Tl;dr its entertaining and i learn a lot but when i step back i feel like my brain is turning to mush 😂
No, I think most people do come to you for relatively unbiased takes. You seem to be a well adjusted centrist, which makes you an attractive channel for reviews of drama. People don't just come for the drama alone. If they did, they'd be attracted to the channel that enrages them most with moral indignation so that they could share righteous anger with the other denizens of the web.

Im willing to admit that I fell for this ploy hook line and sinker. I feel awful that i noticed things wasnt adding up but i watched the appologies and the accusations. There was alot of bs i did note but the fact i learned they did do wrong with handling and i wasn't watching their uploads anyways since i just dont have time or desire? I choose to unsub.

Sexual harassment in the workplace can be very vague and unless you’re getting solicited or outright molested then you should really speak to the “harasser” and tell them you either don’t like their jokes or how they’re speaking before you decide that HR needs to discipline an employee. For people who have no job I’ll explain that even overhearing a couple of coworkers talking about someone OTHER THAN YOU inappropriately, that can be deemed sexual harassment just by you taking offense to comments that have nothing to do with you. You can also “harass” someone if for example, you’re dating a coworker and a third party finds your workplace flirting to be uncomfortable, that can be deemed harassment. Another example is if you’re sharing a raunchy meme with a coworker during lunch and a third party sees it and takes offense. It’s also not uncommon for a company to reeducate their employees on a subject when employees violate certain policy or when employees repeatedly fail on some aspect of their performance.
From experience I can agree with this. I had a colleague say some inappropriate stuff completely unprompted with no prior flirting to me in private, add on top PTSD from SA and I was extremely distressed. Because it was vague and I didn't want to deal with HR especially as it was so minor. I told him when I was safe and calmer how that was extremely inappropriate, I don't want to be physical or intimate with him, he made me extremely uncomfortable and to never speak to me unless it's work related. Fixed the situation. We work together just fine, there was no drama and he's respected my boundaries as well as given me space the rare times I'm in the office.
