Great video, Tristan. You nailed it for people who are considering moving to Sudbury, especially about needing a car which means DRIVING LESSONS to ensure safe travel. Cheers!
I grew up in Lo-Ellen and attended R.L. Beattie in the 50s into the 60s., from kindergarten thru to gr.8. Then on to Lo-Ellen Park high school. Great place to be a kid, before it got all built up.
Hi brother, thank you so much for coming out with this informative video, can you also help me with getting accommodation and part time job? We are group of 4 who will be visiting Sudbury probably in the month of December 2022 for Jan 2023 intake
Hey! The top highschool right now is Lo-Ellen in the SOUTHEND. Many of the others are on even playing field. If your child wants to get into the arts, then I would recommend Sudbury Secondary School!
Hello Ritchie, I'm an international student and I will be resuming at Cambrian college for Fall 2022. I would be landing in Toronto in August. Can you help with securing accommodation in Sudbury (a shared apartment/house)? Budget: 500-600CAD all-inclusive.
Also, the CRA is mostly contract jobs for the tax season, so if you're looking for permanent employment, this statement is misleading unless you are comfortable only working for 3 months during tax season and getting le go. It's contract work, so you don't get laid off and you are not guaranteed a return to your job the following year.
@@TristanRitchie Thank you Sir, will call you when I am there for sure. Ah, a family with 2 little boys, is 1 bedroom apartment w private kitchen still fine?
You need to redo this video. The KED is dead so stop promoting it. The taxes are ridiculous, and the roads are not only terrible, but the ratings show they are rapidly going from fair to poor. You should also mention the various parts of the city and places you'd want to avoid purchasing a property. Like Ward 12, the Historic Flour Mill has the highest crime rate in the city. Ward 1 is also bad. Even in New Sudbury which is bounded by Wards 12 and Ward 8, people are concerned about the drop in their property values because bylaws won't enforce on-street parking which contributes to the higher cost of maintaining the roads in the winter. The Flour Mill, the Donovan, downtown, and Little Britain have the worst services and are basically slums.

Good call! Your public transport is decent but its not a very walkable city in general. Thank you for the comment!
Driving lessons. The one thing half the city didn't get.

Awesome! Its still the most desireable neighborhood in Sudbury!
Whats the scope of community workers in Sudbury? Do they come under health care workers?

Hi. Name is Peter. Please what is the average rent of a 3/4 bed apartment or house in Salbury please.
Hi Peter. The average rent for a 3/4 bed is very similar. If its an apartment in ok condition your range is $2000-$2500

Yep! I made this video before the KED was squashed. It will happen eventually I am sure! Thank you for the comments and concerns!
1. Pot hole infested roads
2. Gigantic big brother property payments
3. Mount Everest high winter conditions
4. Jobs, jobs, jobs, galore
5. Fun, fun, fun
Haha you arent wrong
This helped.
