My absolute favorite action, thriller movie from the 90’s!! It’s an awesome, suspenseful and well written characters. Let’s not forget the spectacular car chases!!! It’s so underrated to even today. Glad that you review this classic!!!
I would agree that this film is very underrated and needs a bigger spotlight shined on it. The car chases are pretty special and the acting is solid from everyone.
I previously saw this in the theatre back in '98. Great film. My sister bought me this 4-K ULTRA a.k.a Super High Definition version and it looks amazing. Colors are fuller, clearer picture, you can even see certain scenes LIVE as if you're at a concert. This gets 4 and a half stars.
GreatI I've been waiting for your review on this one. I have the regular bluray and it's fantastic. A film that was almost ignored when it was released, and now seen as one of Frankenheimer's best by many
Thanks James for the review. I seen this so long ago all I remember was what’s in the darn briefcase? Lol. If you had to pick one film Seconds or Manchurian which one would you choose? Just curious. Thank you!
I've seen it twice. It's in good company with Bullit and The French Connection. If you're interested in more Frankenheimer, I recommend Birdman of Alcatraz and Seven Days in May.
@@stevemoody13 One of the most memorable films where the climactic face-off is essentially two people having an argument, no guns, no explosions, no violence; just Fredric March and Burt Lancaster's characters defending and justifying what they believe in
Damn man. This version I ordered and should be delivered weeks ago but it didn't so I send a message for contact/support/research to what happened. This release I was just very excited for to rewatch because the last time (and only time) I watched this movie was on videotape in the '90s. I saw a lot of dvd, bluray/remasters coming but this KL version was eventually the one I wanted the most and I did not received it ☹
I Finally got it today. Im happy, but also I feel a bit weird because I have the idea that the version I got today is the original delayed version and the company send me a new one. Ill see. If I got a message again Ill send the 2nd version back to the owners. But aside this stuff Im happy that I got it! @@20thand21stMovies

I'd actually forgotten how good it was - superb
Me too, Steve. A nice treat to revisit this film with this nice new presentation.

Yes, it looks pretty terrific on this 4K disc, George! Good movie.
James would like to see a video of your setup. I think it would be an awesome video.
Thank you for the idea! My setup is pretty modest but that could make for a nice video.
Completely agree. This is such great movie and the 4K looks great. Thanks for the video!
Absolutely. Glad you enjoyed the video, Corey!

Yes, seeing it again after so long reminds me how good this movie is, Jay! Kino delivers again with this 4K release.

Hello, F V! Ronin is so good. I would have to go with The Manchurian Candidate if given a choice between it and Seconds. Both are excellent films.
Thanks James. I appreciate it.

Seven Days in May is great and I rarely hear it mentioned.

Thanks for the recommendations on other Frankenheimer movies!

Sorry to hear about the trouble getting your copy of this movie. Hopefully they’ll get it straightened out quickly.
