What's the attrition rate like at Humanitas? In other words, what's the percentage of people who get there on day one that don't make it to the finish line on average. Out of these students, what percentage is "forced" to leave by the school because they don't meet specific requirements and what percentage decides to leave of their own accord but could have easily stayed had they wanted to? In America the graduation rate is around 95% for the average medical school. What's it like at Humanitas? TL;DR how hard is it to get kicked out?
I don't know for sure. It is very hard to get kicked out because you can repeat years basically as many times as you want, as long as you can afford to pay the tuition fee. I think around 10 or 15 students drop out or transfer out of Humanitas per year, but around 10 students transfer into Humanitas too, so the class sizes don't vary by that much throughout the years, as far as I'm aware.
I can't speak for all of Italy but at least at HU, they're mostly written. In year 1 (both semesters): 4 written exams and 2 orals In year 2 (both semesters): 4 written exams and 2 orals In year 3 (only semester 1): 5 written exams and 2 orals and I don't know yet what semester 2 holds for us
