the thing that I like about sera is the rate at which she speaks. you literary get twice as much information as you listen to somebody else in an equal amount of time.
Such an amazing video made by Serra to clarify and guide so many aspects of IMAT. It is worthwhile to ANY student, in any age, trying to get a place in Medicine in Italy.
As someone who has never taken chemistry I feel so lost. I've been trying my best to check the specifications for chemistry and only study those parts but it doesn't seem to narrow much down. And it's hard to find good video explanations & and books for these particular topics. By any chance could you do a separate video on how to tackle the chem section of IMAT even if you have never done the subject before ?
I learned chemistry but forgot most of what i learned. So, i use khan academy to review chemistry, and then I combine the information from the lecture and the information from the textbook into my notes. I try to review every now and then as i continue to enter later chapters.
I'm preparing both for the test in italian and for the one in English, for me they are two planes A! What do you advise me to combine the preparation in these two tests at the same time?
Very detailed and helpful, Thanks! I think given the fact that GK and Logical reasoning are going to be dismissed from the exam on 2023 (starting major changes from this year) it is helpful to not put too much emphasis on it and focus on scientific parts. those MEOWs were really cute though :D
@@indyraweng777 Hey! The official syllabus for 2023 will not be released until its due date. But given the recent consensus in altering the structure of all entry exams in Italy, I'd say it's best to focus on the science parts for the time being. Good Luck!
Thank you for your videos, they are so helpful!! I was wondering if you could give me a link for the A level books you said, since i'm not familiar with the concept!! Amazon is ok and then i'll try to find it in my country!! I'm more intrested in the Biology and physics!
Hi Serra, thank you for your efforts. In your videos, you've mentioned that no ranking can truly rank these universities and that all have a very good quality of education. The cut offs in 2023, for most unis, were very high compared to previously - where 45 was good enough to get into most universities. Why do you think that is, better prep or easier questions? Furthermore, I'm looking to apply but as a non-EU student, I'm not sure how to make my ranking list. On the safe side, should I rank a university with more lenient cut off as my first (as that's what they look at) or go for my choice? Super conflicted ;( Thank you again!
Can you please recommend a trivia app or something for general knowledge if you know any that deal with european stuff. Because i have been on the search for one and I just can't find one. PS lovee your vids thank you for all the info you've given us
Your videos are really an incredible resource. I do have a question though, would it be possible to make a video regarding residency opportunities after graduation? For example are you yourself considered an IMG if you wanted to do residency back in Ireland? I'm Canadian and it is basically impossible to come back to Canada after doing a degree elsewhere. Do you know of any of your classmates who are planning to try to get in the US, ect? Would really appreciate your perspective. Thanks
Wow what a coincidence, I just hit publish on the first video delving into this. You can go back to Canada, I know people who have done it, but you are considered an IMG which has a disadvantage. The real question is can a non-Canadian go back to Canada haha

Thank you for the guide, I do appreciate your video guides! :) Can I ask a question regarding the pre-enrollment? I have read a post on Reddit, it says Non-EU students are allowed to apply for only one university. I thought the "pre-enrollment" rule was applying for the university that required an IMAT score. Seems like it's not the case. there was not a source of information the post on Reddit, so I did my research and even mailed the embassy in my country. Unfortunately, I haven't received any firm information from them yet. Do you know if Non-EU students can apply for private schools and public schools (IMAT) for pre-enrollment? if it's not possible, do you think it's possible for me to apply for a non-medicine degree and also take the IMAT? I need a backup plan for the case where I end up not getting the seat.
and, about the logical reasoning section! I think most of us will do appreciate it if you decide to create content regarding the logical reasoning sections. It always has been my weak spot ever since I started prepping for the exam. and I still have some hard times when I approach this specific section. And, I just want to say that you are like my goals, and I am always rooting for your med journey! :) Thank you for creating these useful contents for us.

One thing i want to say on the subject of online courses: they are NOT worth it. You will be lucky if you find one that actually helps you instead of just stealing your money, and even then unless you’re stupid rich (they are unbelievably costly, like 1000€) for admission in italy there just aren’t any good online course options
A logical reasoning guide would be incredibly helpful. Really appreciate all the work and effort you’re putting into your content!
