- The LilyPad interface used to map your controller or keyboard to the virtual PS2 pads is not well documented and confusingly laid out. Here's how to remap any KBM or controller input to the PCSX2 virtual controllers for pads 1 and 2.

You can download PCSX2 free from Emuparadise (the unofficial console emulation authority): www.emuparadis...
You'll need PS2 bios to get PCSX2 to work, get it off your own PS2 console or download the BIOS pack on EMUPARADISE FORUMS (requires free registration): www.epforums.o...
You'll need a copy of the PS2 game you want to play located on your HDD, use ImgBurn to backup your game disc: imgburn.com/
Or you can find backups created by other enthusiasts in the ISO format to download online, legality of doing so may vary by region and your personal moral code.

what no one talks about is there aren't controls for up-left, up-right, down-left, down-right.

My pcsx2 controller configuration doesn't work properly, if i configure r3 my x O ∆ doesn't work and if i configure them then my r3 work as triangle, square and circle. I am fed with this, any suggestions ?

I have a major problem. So I click each setting on the right on pad 1 tab, yet it keeps mapping the same control to the and not creating a new mapping. for example, I click the control on the screen, press the corresponding control on the gamepad, yet it keeps mapping the same control on the list.

i figured out how to map the controls but they worked once and then the just stopped working...
Managed to bind my controller. Only problem is: When I load my game, the main menu scrolls down infinitely. Is this a problem with my controller, or LilyPad's mapping?
I am using a 360 controller and i have used a PS4 controller and my issue is if i go a certain direction with my stick it makes me move slower and it ruins the game for me (using it on KH2) when ever i go left up left down or right up and right down it makes me move slower and i haven't found a solution can you help me?
It used to be working perfectly fine with it set all of my controls for me but it stopped working so i cleared it all and then tried setting it up and then i got this issue

I'm using pcsx2 1.6.0 running Ghostbusters. I am trying to map to a PS2 controller connected to a usb converter. My key bindings are accepted sucessfully except for L3, and R3 not registering. After I press Apply and OK . Half the key bindings are not saved or revert to the directional buttons and joy stick buttons both controlling direction of the avater on the left side of the controller and the right side joystick does not work at all and the cross, circle , triangle, square revert to directional keys or just don't work at all. I even tried saving the keybinding profile to no avail. Any ideas?
Certain keys that I have configured on my keyboard aren't working when I press them. For example I configured the H, N, B, and M keys as the PS2 D-Pad buttons but the B and M keys aren't working for me. The video game that I'm currently playing is Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier and I need to use the right and left D-pad buttons to select between different Eco Powers in that game, what do I need to do to fix this problem?

Bro you probably won't see this but thanks man, I was trying for the longest time to figure this out but a brief start of the explanation managed to get me started real well. I downloaded a portable version of PCSX2 so i didn't have much of the weird fancy stuff other people had in their setups that let them just do a quick scan and set up of their controls.

i was trying to play Ace Combat Zero and while i pressed the Start (enter key) it didn't execute it and i checked the Lilypad but i save it while i was finished setting up then i just come back to the game and not been worked aswell

Every time I try to map my PS4 controller to the emulator it goes back to the normal settings i even tryd looking up Tutorial but they didn't show how to import the ps4 controller mapping the right way and im trying to play the rayman games 2 and 3

I tried using dualshock 4 on this emulator everything else was fine except for the analog controls I cant seem to bind X-Axis + and Y-Axis - in my controller been fixing this for an hour eventually gave up and use an X1 controller instead

So everything works, not not the only thing that works is the B button and it only pauses and shows settings
it still doesnt work because when i go in the game and it start up when i press enter to start up the game as to play it i cant press enter to press start it not letting me to do u know why its not working

My Xbox wired controller works for the other emulators but my left thumb stick won’t work correctly for this one . He will move on his on
Im having a TON of trouble mapping my PS4 controller to this software. 90% of the time the software picks up the gyroscope functions in the controller as the button input. when trying to do the quick startup it counts me clicking the button as the current input im on and me letting go of it as a whole other input for the next option. Anyone have a lilypad file already set up for controllers so im not constantly pausing and unpausing my games by the slightest movement of my actual controller.

I have a problem with my settings and I have no idea why it does this. I put in all the inputs for pad 1, click apply, then head to pad 2, put in the inputs again, click apply, but after I do that, it completely erases pad 1s inputs and it keeps doing it no matter which one I decide to try first. plz help!!!
I am looking for a different problem that I can't find anywhere else! Whenever I bind my Xbox One controller to PCSX2 the analog sticks bind weirdly for not apparent reason. Example: on the left stick I can walk left and right but down will equal forwards and up will do nothing! This is the same for the right stick I really can't figure out how to fix this and I would love some help cause it has been stressing me out for so long.

At 1:45, how do u make all ur inputs the "WM keyboard" but not Xpad something? Is that why I am not working?
I think it might have something to do with config, something along the lines of "All devices". I'm not sure but you should check.

how do i setup for the mouse ?
for me, when doing the right analog stick (which is used for looking around) I simply clicked the up, left, right, down, and moved my mouse accordingly. Seemed to work for me.

Hi I have one problem (controls and Joystick work) , when I run the game ( nicktoons attack of the toybots) I can skip game intro (x button) and then I press start (start button) and they I get to main menu and there is 4 options :
1. New game
2.Load game
3.Multiplayer
4.Setting/Options
And selection is stuck on 1st one (can't choose any other) and i go select (x button) but nothing is responding, have you ever seen something like this , is it the game problem or controller. I know you are not an expert so if you can't help me its ok. Thank you.
i just found out that on my keyboard everything works perfectly mby my joystick is not supported because its some rip off
