Thank you for watching our first ever Gundam Card Game gameplay video! I'm looking to potentially try some new overlays and some sound effects in future GCG gameplay videos...what do you think?
I can't wait until the tournament scene starts up for this. There's so much room for interesting deck builds especially with all the future colors and possible mechanics they can add.
I’m excited too but let’s not get too far ahead. There’s plenty of room in every card new card game - let’s see what they do with it. I’m concerned about availability
Thank you so much for this!!! Great video, beautiful explanations from both sides of what each card does to each other and easy to follow the rules without having hands on the game yet.
This is the type of video I've been hoping to see more of. All the people playing on TTS or with proxies are making the best decks possible with 4 copies of everything. That's not the reality of what you're going to get in your box and not very helpful, particularly for those going to local trial events where you have to build the best deck you can with the single box. So I'm glad to see a series like this where you can demonstrate what those trial matches may look like.
Perfect. This is exactly the type of content the community needs. A lot of people getting their hands on a Beta Box will only have that limited selection to play with until the first set comes out. At best they might get 3 copies of the same LR in their box but most people will only have 2 copies of one and just 1 copy of the others. Content like this is exactly what they’d need to learn how to make the most of what they have.
Hoping to see more videos like that, as the trial event will begin in locals i really wanted to see the best decks we could build with just a beta box so this type of video really helps (btw, these foil ex resources are so damn gorgeous)
Nice video, I will say green white is the best build of the beta set by far, also in the future playing bird mode there is a kinda of a miss because if u played it on your turn 3 u would have 2 ex resources instead of keeping the 1 leading to to high lv units quicker as you can have up to 5 ex resources
Unfortunately I didn't have any high level cards in hand (as you see in later turns) and valued a tempo play to establish board presence without going down on total level
Great analysis, thank you! Could you help me with something unrelated: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (mistake turkey blossom warfare blade until bachelor fall squeeze today flee guitar). What's the best way to send them to Binance?
Thanks for the demo, really similar to other bandai card games. Might give it a try if the box price isn't too expensive but not very hype especially with the screencaps design , even the rarest cards art are just ok Imo.

maybe adding some beam sound effects when destroying a base or unit could be cool or smth like that =)
@MaftyTCG yeah that's kinda what I had in mind! I just wasn't sure if they'd be too distracting

Launching with a robust organized play plan is pretty important I think! If they nail that and availability then the stars are the limit!

Exactly!! The next video like this will feature a deck that isn't running green at all too, just to showcase different strategies

real shit, giving the common man a plausible scenario
Huh honestly pretty big shadowverse vibes with how pilots kind of act like evolves.
Yeah I think that's why I like the gameplay so much haha

Awesome! Very happy to hear it
Also I'm definitely jealous of Erik's foil resources 😅
Thanks I can send this around to the people I know want to play
Gree/Blue is goin to be the deck to play until the full game releases in a few months
Looking forward to when this comes out. Plays similar to One Piece but has its own twist with pilots and bases.
Shadowverse Evolve is also very similar! It's my favorite game so makes sense why I like Gundam gameplay so much haha
Its irritating how hard the beta boxes have been to get, not just p bandai but the extremely limited availability as game stores
Looks cool, but I have no hopes of getting to play this in Europe the next years lol. I missed the bandai event in Utrecht :(

@RedZoneRogue understandable, and I'll drop a sub cuz I respect you for supporting the game, thank you🤝
this is awesome mate, thanks
Cheers, thanks for watching man! 🍻
So attack on base is always only 1 shield? I thought shields worked as 1 hp, so if you attack with a power 3 that would be 3 shields down?
Any damage dealt directly to shields is always only 1 Shield, this includes both direct attacks and breach 👍

Where did yall get them playmats?
We both got them for being invited to and attending the World Premiere event in Dec!
can a non rested unit be attacked?
Not usually. I think only the Wing Gundam LR can

So there are no screencaps in this game - it's all original art! Hopefully you'll get the chance to try it out!
@RedZoneRogue my bad, those seems very animés style. Definitely will try if there is enough supply
If they add g gundam I'm all in
I REALLY wanna start my turn by saying: "This card of mine glows with an awesome POWERRRR!!"
@RedZoneRogue my love, my anger, and all of my resources!!
Very similar with Duel Masters.
Alot of Japanese tcg game design is owed to Duel Masters
green/white. Blocker is the best tag in beta.
