I knew about the fan, but have never actually seen one.---That fish parasite was truly gruesome. Ick.
Yes it was very gross!
Funny thing is though, the fish and the louse (yes they are in the louse family) end up in a symbiotic relationship. The louse feeds on the blood and mucus of the fish and its prey and the fish carries on with the louse acting as its tongue. They carry on together just fine.
