- On the heels & hooves of the Sand Creek Clydesdales episode, we dip into the Archives to bring you more on the Draft Horse breeds. At a Draft Horse show in the U.K., learn about the different draft breeds, how they were used in history and commerce, and why people are so passionate about their draft horse breed of choice.
Very interesting how calm and quiet these gentle giants are. Thank you for sharing. Turnout is incredible. 🐴
My absolute favorite thing to see at the Pyuallup Fair is these beautiful animals.
They do the shows in the arena and all eyes are literally glued to them.
Thank you for posting this video. They are all stunning beauties!
Big beautiful breeds!
Fabulous memories
Draft Horses are just unbelievable Strong yes Gorgeous Animals. Love them, but still don't believe in ducting their Tails!
Please stop that,,, and show the Natural beauty of these Gentle Giants, with a Tail they can use for fighting off those Pesty Bugs!❤
I agree, and before someone uses the 'they dock the tails so that they won't get caught in the equipment' excuse. There are several different draft breeds that don't dock tails. Noriker, Swedish Draft, and the Suffolk for instance I know there are more but those are the ones I know off the top of my head.
Thank u education just wat I need 🎄🎁🎄🎁🎄🎁🎄🎁🎄🎁🎄🎁🎄🎁🎄🎁🎄🎁 much luv and respect
The Clydesdale were first bred in Hamilton Scotland by the duke of Hamilton who lived near the river Clyde hense the name Clydesdale

No tails ruined their looks. Hate this practice
Historically, it had a purpose to prevent tails from getting caught in farm machinery, but it serves no real useful purpose today other than continuing the historical look.
