Michele and Molly come across really well in this. Never knew the story about Michele’s Dad, very sad but show’s how strong and determined she was. She really is a legend!!

Rosemary Smith is another great female pioneer in motor-sport. Even later in life when she became the oldest person to drive an F1 car.

Very well put together - it should be made into a wider available on a platform such as netflix. I have always had a soft spot for Molly - its awesome find out about her motorsport career and back ground. Life goals - Stand and chat with Molly over a coffee 10 minutes before the start of Rally of New Zealand.

Have you forgotten about WRC's first Lady Rally Champion, Louise Aitken-Walker and co-driver Tina Thorner?

I remember when Becs started doing voice-over for wrc highlights, in the early 2000s, it was so alien for me at first (because of the new voice, not because she's a woman).
Soon enough it turned out she is "The voice of WRC". Really enjoy everything she does. Huge respect.
Great people, great interview, great video.
    Thanks

my dream is to become one of (maybe THE) first trans woman rally driver. i don't really have the money for it, but I know I have the skill. i think if I forego a house and live in a caravan trailer and work on farms to afford food and maintenance, i can pull it off. these women are such an inspiration to me, it would be a dream come true to follow in their footsteps

It's great that there are now programs for woman to get into motorsport, but shouldn't it be for both woman and men. There are so many guys out there who desperately want to get into rally and the motorsport world in general, but just don't have the financial means, or contacts to do so. There are many school kids doing incredible world beating times on sim rigs, but have no means of going any farther.
If the sport is to continue it must bring up the next generation, not just the past champions kids, and make it either affordable, and or accessible to more people.
Where I live , in the 80's and 90's there were 5 very strong car clubs, with over 100 active members each, now there are only 2. 1 of which has less than 20 members.
