I’ve one them adapters great job use it on old dolce gusto in work mainly sometimes at home means I can have lattes or cappuccinos etc with the dolce gusto pods or if I fancy something stronger I can make an espresso or lingo etc with the adapter great job just watch the cheaper pods that aren’t aluminium they tend to burst in the adapter when he water pressure hits them, I also with a delivery of this adapter was able to get a filter adapter which I use at work for filter coffee it’s not bad but not the same as a filter machine or moka pot both of which I have at home
Im confused what water lever should i use?
Hello i have this one but when i put capsule i put it to the machine I can’t close the machine it’s so hard to closed i scare to broke it is this possible

might be compatibility issues? I think the S series is not compatible.

I don't know if mine is defective or indicative of the design, but it blows the rubber gasket on the adaptor and sprays water and produces a weak coffee. Anyone else have this problem?
Mine is perfectly tight. I even had to shave a millimeter off of the gasket and the ring holding the gasket to be able to close the machine when a plastic based capsule is inserted. These have a thicker collar than the aluminium based capsules and didn't fit initially.
Is it possible that you used bio-degradeble capsules when your gasket blew? According to Amazon reviews these bio-plastic capsules don't burst open reliably so that the pressure increases until it finds another way out.
@@MetalheadAndNerd i bought another that works fine, I must have had a defective gasket. Thanks for the advice though I'll try to stick to the capsules I find work best.
I had this happen few times to mine only when I’ve used cheaper Nespresso pods that aren’t alluiminium there was plastic ones I’ve my old dolce gusto in work and use adapter for when I want good espresso and it just went bang with the water pressure and blow too big a hole in pod and water went everywhere lol but other than that when used with decent quality pods I’ve never had any problems with it it’s handy if you wanna try the nespresso and only have room for the dolce gusto you can have your lattes and cappuccino flat white etc and also have your stronger espresso and lungo etc with adapter very handy

@@MobaCry I wouldn't bother I have tried to get them to work, some do some don't but eventually the ones that work break the machine causing it to jam, I have broken both my penguin and the bigger model. I use Tassimo now because, even when the adaptor worked I had to use two capsules to get a decent coffie.
Anyone some opinion from 1 to 10 about the taste of the coffee?

So this adapter only to fit nespresso size capsule? Cannot use for dolce gusto size capsule?
my machine is already dolce gusto so I don't need an adapter for it...
@@HomeofZ a coffee machine is way better than dolce gusto coffee i have tried all the pods and they are all synthetic chemically coffee when i realised how cheap coffee is in the shops for ground you can get a bag of starbucks for £3. I waisted alot of money on pods it's cheaper buying a budget coffee machine
@@theprogrammerrolandmc3039 yea but a decent coffee machine cost around 300 bucks minimum when a dolce gusto mini me can cost 39 bucks brand new. in the end one of those dolce gusto machine are a lot cheaper even with a few adapter ( dolce gusto, nespresso but you can add support for senseo, ese and ground coffee )
(only the 2 adapter are needed of this video for all that)

There is a newer version that does work on it.i have genio s and I've just tried it.works like a charm
