My two favorite moments in this: 1) Maroon skating up to give Berube a huge hug while he was cheesin’ super hard. 2) Shwartz giving Polak a hug in the line. Polak worked his ass off for the blues in earlier playoff runs and I love to see two old teammates coming together like that. LETS GO BLUES
The Blues winning the cup is very different than many other teams winning a cup. We have been waiting for this since we were born. Blues winning a cup is akin to the Cubs winning the World Series, or Boston Red Sox winning in 2004. It will be HUGE. After the Blues win their first cup, then we can breathe a sigh of relief, and be moderately ok if they lose rounds in the future. But just let us have this first one, please! This one of the greatest things about the sport of hockey. 20 or more guys, depending on scratches and game to game substitutions from opposing sides battling and hating each other's guts for most parts of a 7 game series come together once all is said and done and show one another nothing but respect, knowing it could've gone either way. No trash talk, no back handed compliments, no post game/post series verbal garbage. Just genuine respect for love of the game and their counterparts as athletes.

It always makes me feel good to see the enforcers of the day get the props and respect and accolades that they never received when they were defending their teammates and giving up their bodies and health for the game they sacrificed their all for. He never got a Cup as a player. I hope he gets one as a coach.
I have to say, I think all Blues fans were skeptical at first but hes turned into a coach loved by both fans and players. Generally awesome to watch some of the behind the scenes coach and player interactions. Really hoping Berube wins the jack adams

Blues have extended their own record by being the first team since the expansion era in last place after New Years to not just make it to round 2, but round 3. It’s all just a matter of if they can win the cup, and failing that, how hard they can make that record to break.
- What a game & what a series :-) Blues heavily outshot the Stars in Game 7 but Ben Bishop played outstanding in goal and gave the Stars a chance to keep battling. Remember, just minutes Jamie Benn nearly won it for Dallas with a wraparound attempt that hit Binnington's left pad. Another inch or two lower and the Stars would've won it then & there. Game of inches as they say. Then 2 minutes later Maroon knocks home the OT winner. Amazing hockey game and what great drama for playoff hockey. 2 teams played a heck of a series. I wouldn't mind seeing the Blues go all the way this year now....but given this year's playoffs, you just never know tho....! :-o

I been a Stars fan since their Minnesota days and as much of a rival as St.Louis has been to us, they are the 1 team in the division that I don't mind. I can't stand Chicago, Minnesota and Nashville. I'm not too crazy about Colorado and Winnipeg. The Blues are ok in my book.

Us Blues fans have been going through this for 50+ years. We know the feeling all too well. Much respect to the Stars and Jets. Both very difficult opponents full of great players. Both were fantastic series.
Sure I’m bitter, Dallas is my team after all, but I don’t hate the blues like I hate other teams. The better team won that game and won the series. I wish the best for the blues going forward. On a side note, not taking away from St. Louis, but I’m proud of my team. Dallas doesn’t make it in often but for them to push a veteran playoff experienced team to double overtime, game seven, second round is awesome. I know a lot of it was bish, but still both teams should hold their heads highs after this series.
Give the Blues credit they earned the Cup but I don't want to hear Dallas played well. You get no points for trying & hearing people say oh great Series is so phoney everyone says it when you win say it when you lose. I'm sick of the sportsmanship BS I like angry players when the job isn't done. The sports world is so soft today. Game of inches as they say. Then 2 minutes later Maroon knocks home the OT winner. Amazing hockey game and what great drama for playoff hockey. 2 teams played a heck of a series. I wouldn't mind seeing the Blues go all the way this year now....but given this year's playoffs, you just never know tho....! :-o

I been a Stars fan since their Minnesota days and as much of a rival as St.Louis has been to us, they are the 1 team in the division that I don't mind. I can't stand Chicago, Minnesota and Nashville. I'm not too crazy about Colorado and Winnipeg. The Blues are ok in my book.

One of the downside of being a fan for a Dallas sport team. High expectations and when it doesn’t happen, gets pretty sore. 😢
Us Blues fans have been going through this for 50+ years. We know the feeling all too well. Much respect to the Stars and Jets. Both very difficult opponents full of great players. Both were fantastic series.
Sure I’m bitter, Dallas is my team after all, but I don’t hate the blues like I hate other teams. The better team won that game and won the series. I wish the best for the blues going forward.
On a side note, not taking away from St. Louis, but I’m proud of my team. Dallas doesn’t make it in often but for them to push a veteran playoff experienced team to double overtime, game seven, second round is awesome. I know a lot of it was bish, but still both teams should hold their heads highs after this series.

Give the Blues credit they earned the Cup but I don't want to hear Dallas played well. You get no points for trying & hearing people say oh great Series is so phoney everyone says it when you win say it when you lose. I'm sick of the sportsmanship BS I like angry players when the job isn't done. The sports world is so soft today. Old school methods are the way to go I don't like anyone I'm playing against which is why in those after Series lines I wouldn't speak a sentence shake hands & get in the locker room.
Blue had better win it all. To cost my Stars like that, they better go and win it all. But the Stars didn't deserve to win this game. They were an absolute joke on the offensive end. Ben Bishop deserves the Vezina trophy, and this game sealed that.
