Having said that , I had a 1990’s Indian Bullet, and I the manufacture was nowhere near the quality of Redditch built bikes, so the may be plenty of cheese bolts and dodgy Indian ‘SKF’ labelled soft bearings 😳- good luck!

Imho Hitchcocks are a pleasure to deal with Ive had a few of these enfield bullets my daily driver is a 80s 350 ( earlier than your one) I was heavily involved in racing these things one thing I can say, "older skills apply " and fine threads in cream cheese are a recipe for disaster ...

Emily and Joe in really, really looking forward to this one.
My lovely friend Jacqui Furneaux rode her 2000 model around the world for seven years before bringing it back to the UK and only very recently retired it. I have such fond memories of bouncing across the grass on it, completely confused by the wrong footedness of gear change and brake.
I can't wait to see what you both make of this.

I always want to change everything on mine but have kept it mostly stock, as it's time tested perfection. In fact, I'm considering returning the exhaust to stock. At least, he's keeping all the original parts, especially the iconic nacelle. With all the expense of recreating an earlier look, I wonder whether one could just buy an old Reddich model. This series will be an education and fun.
