- Now this was a fun trip folks. If you ever venture to Oregon try and find a way to experience Jerry's Rogue Jets. They offer both whitewater tours as well as more mellow scenic tours if that is more your speed.
They have two locations they run out of. Gold Beach on the Southern Oregon Coast is the section we did. They also go out of Grants Pass, Oregon which is off of interstate 5.
From humble origins as a Mail Route into the remote Rogue River Wilderness, Jerry's Rogue Jets has become a Must-Do adventure on the Southern Oregon Coast. Our nature based jet boat tours run daily from May 1 - Oct 15 and are safe for all ages. Don't miss out on the fun! Come join us for an unforgettable Rogue River Adventure.
Jerry's Wilderness Whitewater tour takes you into the Wilderness zone of the Rogue-Siskiyou National Forest, an area only accessible by jet boating, rafting, and hiking. Our skilled boat captains will take you on a 7 hour, 104 Mile round trip, thru the most beautiful section of the Rogue River Canyon. Relax and enjoy the tall tales, rich history, and abundant wildlife of the Rogue River Canyon.

I’ve been on this ride about 3-4 times, it never gets old.
Agree
It was a wild yet beautiful ride
Yes it was
That was sweet!!
Thank you. It was pretty wild.
I was on one of these 35 years ago out of Gold Beach… The Guy ran it up on the Sand Bar 1/2 mile up river. The Abrupt HALT was extremely interesting. Everyone and Everything flying out of the Beached Boat…
Great Times
That is insane and yet not a surprise. They are pretty nuts.
Wow that guy sure could navigate that boat.
Ya it was pretty amazing
Great ride!
Thank you Patty.
The Rogue river is 215 miles long. It start from Crater Lake. I live about 2000' away from it. Never been on the jet boats mail tour yet.
We really had a good time on it
Very cool. Surprised a boat that size can make it up that river.
We thought the same thing Joe. There were so many obstacles to avoid it that guy was definitely a pro.
was it hard on your back in the jet boat? I'm thinking of taking my dad but he has a bad back.
Hi Dallas. Yes. The whitewater portion definitely was. They do have a much more mellow ride which I would suggest. Maybe bring some sort of cushion as the backs are hard.
@@adventuresofjandk thank you for the info.

The first time we took the mailboat one of the owners was out captain, I think there were 3 brothers originally, there were kids playing on a sandy beach and the skipper jetovated the kids one of the little girls was literally rolling up the beach he panic'd and we took off, the boat was only half full.
Thanks Bill for the information.
