Oh fun fact: the razor box trap that the chick Addison got stuck in was actually meant for Gus, the guy who got shot in the eye. Gus' tape would have said something along the lines of him: "reaching his hand into the cookie jar for money", implying that he was guilty of embezzlement of sorts. Originally, a trap planned for Addison was supposed to basically resemble a waffle iron. Upon trying to grab a syringe with the antidote, two clamps would trap her wrists and slowly heat up and burn her wrists. In order to free herself, she had to press her face against a third hot iron positioned right in front of her. This would activate a mechanism that would release her from the clamps so she could obtain the syringe. Her instruction tape would have said something like: "You have to sacrifice your looks, in order to save your life." Given that she was a prostitute or sex worker.
Since you mentioned 'syringe girl'... the irony is: if you take a look at the top center of the trap (on the side that is facing us viewers), you can see the lock AND THE KEY IS IN IT. All she had to do was take her time and inspect the trap first, go around to the other side, unlock the top, and take the antidote.
Thanks! Out of all of them, Saw II is my favorite haha. There are a lot of fuckups in this franchise, but casting Donnie Wahlberg was a really smart decision. Great actor and gave an awesome performance. Not to mention the plot twist which was really good too in my opinion. Edit: John Kramer is considered a serial killer by law. He kidnaps people and traps them in torture devices they could die of, that's still murder.
Even though I was expecting a twist the whole time, I thought the story played out really well! I was impressed by Donnie! I really didn’t know what to expect from him! I was all aboard the John train 😂 I think sympathizing with his situation is twisty all in its self….
@@funnylilgalreacts Donnie is a miles better actor than his brother Mark in my opinion. He was also great in Band of Brothers. The Saw films are pretty subpar but his acting in this one makes it that much better. He portrays a man's rage so well. That ending when he's screaming at Amanda, I could feel what he felt at that moment you know? He cared about his son very deeply, even though he messed up a lot. Edit: Also, Eric's very rushed decisions due to his short temper are very understandable in this situation. He's a parent and his son's life is in real danger. I think any parent who loves their child would have a great deal of difficulty of staying calm. Especially when the kidnapper of your son antagonizes you and plays mind games.
@@funnylilgalreactsthe fun fact with this one is that John needed Daniel alive to ensure his plans for Eric came to fruition. Since he knew the others would probably figure out who Daniel was and try to kill him, Daniel ad Amanda were both given antidotes before the game started and Amanda was basically charged with keeping Daniel alive and watching out for him for the duration of the game and to ensure the rules were followed. That’s why she was even there in the first place.
Love this reaction. Fun anecdote: I went to high school with the writer/director of this movie (as well as Saw 3, Saw 4, and Spiral). I didn't really know him all that well (we did do a play together my junior year though), but we had a mutual friend whose name was Xavier. As far as I know, that Xavier never threw anybody into a pit of needles.
You know what's so crazy? At the end, John is in the car all beat up and bloody and he STILL wins in the end because he's trapped in the house screaming bloody murder and he still doesn't know where his son is! Wow!!!
I've seen these films 4 or 5 times but you noticed things that I never have. I never noticed that Amanda didn't have blood, and I never noticed that the numbers were in the order of the colours of the rainbow. I'm learning new things watching your reactions.
I fully support your decision to finish this series, and by the end, you'll look at all the movies in a much different light. Also, you may want to refrain from doing any research, because you'll get spoiled so fast.
I'm glad you liked it and as I mentioned on your first reaction. This one is my favourite by simply listening to john. When my dog was dying and I had to pick him up for him to simply drink. It made me realise what john said why are we only willing to show true compassion when a life is at stake. I dont even like dogs that much but I'm from a dog family. But seeing him struggle made me feel emotional and understand the value of life with those you love.
For that scene with all of the needles, they had to actually take all of the actual tips out and replace it with some kind of rubber. Can you imagine if they missed a few. 0_0
they had a separate box of real needles for close ups but the y accidentally got knocked into the pit with the rubber ones! They had to empty the entire pit to find them all and put the rubber ones back in.
I really enjoy your reactions. They're some of the most realistic and down to earth I've found on RUclips. I love the Saw movies. The first one is definitely the best imo, but they're all fun. I watch them almost every October.

And the thing about these movies is that even some of the less good ones are still entertaining and fun to watch.
Now that I've thought about it, you kinda looked like Emmanuelle Vaugier. She's the actress who played Addison Corday in this movie, the one who got her arms stuck inside the box. And also, a little bit of Betsy Russell, the actress who played Jill Tuck. Nice reaction video for the Saw series, btw. I've watched your Saw playlist a couple of times now. I can't wait for your reaction on the upcoming Saw X movie.
Best fuckin twist ever. The game was already completed days before they arrested john. This whole thing was a game for the cop and his son was in the safe the whole time. He didnt even realize that and john knew he was gonna brake

Thanks! I definitely will! This month is going to be wild with Boba Fett and Cobra Kai but I'm going to do a movie every 10 days or so. I have to edit and it take me a bit. Debating on in January if I want to do Insidious or something else.
Saw is one of my Favorite franchises. I’m going back watching reactions and what people fail to realize is that the movies and the amount of gore actually goes with the film. If you watch you see Amanda takes over but went against John wishes as she never gave her victims chances to begin with and “cheated” basically breaking Johns ideology same with the cop who used traps as personal revenge. This movie especially shows that Johns ideology was flawed since no one did the traps as they were suppose to so they never got to even play the game as john envisioned.
Try a film called 'Hostel'. I remember that might have had an interesting twist. I think it also may have come out about the same time as the 'Saw' movies.
@@funnylilgalreacts the first Hostel was an amazing film, but it's nastier than the Saw films. Hated the second one, third one was fun, but quite silly.
It was certainly a great twist! I think looking for it takes away some of the power it has, but Daniel being in a “safe place”… I never saw that coming.

I enjoyed your review and I understand some of the things you discussed, but 1) John IS a killer. He literally set up a tripwire with shotguns attached to it so a guy can walk through it and get his head blown off. He sliced detective tapp's throat open with a hand blade (I know he didn't die, but it was ATTEMPTED murder). He chained a guy to a bathroom pipe in a basement and left him for dead. He PUTS lethal traps onto people's bodies with the worst case scenario being they die. The oxford textbook definition of murder is " the unlawful premeditated killing of one human being by another." If John didn't put people in lethal traps WITH the intent of the worst case scenario being they die in the first place , they wouldn't have died. That's literally the equivalent to someone pushing a person in front of a train then being like "*I* didn't kill them, the train did🥴" 2) I know John is a frail old man with cancer, but he does NOT deserve ANY sympathy. While it was stupid for Eric to lose his cool and beat him up, I wasn't sitting there going "aw, poor John🥺" because he's a freaking sociopath.
I get what your saying. While I do t agree with John at all, I still like the depth they gave the character. I feel like sometimes murderers, killers, psychopaths are very one-dimensional. They really helped build his character so it wasn’t just a killer being a killer. And a cop being a hero. It was a killer that had a motivation beyond blood thirst. And a cop who is corrupt and dirty and doesn’t really deserve the title of hero. I like that they don’t keep them tied up in those tropes.
I have a Question? How are you able to keep this video up on RUclips? Every time I upload my Reaction to this movie. It gets Deleted or Blocked within Minutes..
It was blocked for a while, I had to do a lot of after post adjustments to it. I think because I used filters and sped up scenes, it was enough that it was considered "transformed". Now that I've been doing this for a bit, I would definitely do things differently. But remember this one thing I've learned: it's not about the story, its about your reaction. Cut anything that has to do with the content narrative and keep what builds up to your reaction.
Loving the reactions to these movies. Its cool you put up with the gore. Most women won't even give it a try. Also nice to know you drink some too. Nothing wrong with kicking back.
If you like this type of movies. like good horror gore era with a nice and interesting story from the early 00´s. I would recommend Hostel and Martyrs. Pretty good movies, pretty good stories (specially martyrs wich its IMO the best in general), but its specially pretty similar in the horror theme, gore and twist and what I like the most, and engaging story. Also Imo, SAW its pretty good and consistent up to the Third one. after that it is still worth watching, but your worst fear does come true, the movies get nasty lmao, sometimes its so over the top that you cannot take it serious anymore. even the story goes too far. they are still fun and worth watching tho and some are pretty good after 3, like for some odd reason SAW 6 its actually kinda of very good.
I haven’t heard of Martyrs! I’m putting it on the list! I was warned that hostel is pretty gory. But if there’s a good story then maybe I can forget about all the blood and guts and gross stuff that follows LOL
Saying that John isn’t a killer never made sense to me. He’s putting people in situations where their only options are pain and, typically, mutilation or death. He may not be there killing them directly but they would not be in that situation facing death if he had not put them there. And there are absolutely people that deserved to be tortured. Those that harm children being at the top of the list.
If you haven’t seen the original Scream, it’s so much more quality than your classic slasher film. It’s sort of like a murder mystery more than just someone running around killing everybody
If you felt sympathy for John here, can't wait to see your reactions to the next movies in the series! Also, you should check out 1978's "Magic" starring Anthony Hopkins! No one has ever reacted to the movie on RUclips, it's really good ;-]
👀 Interesting…. I’m not sure how I’d feel about that. Hoffman? Stoked! Adam I feel is a stretch. But considering Leigh wouldn’t write a shitty movie staring himself, I’d watch the hell out of it!
Watch the 1981 thriller, NIGHTHAWKS. It stars Rutger Hauer, Sylvester Stallone and Billie Dee Williams. Rutger is another bad guy you can't help but like.
Not horror, so I guess for some time after October - The Judge (Robert Duvall, Robert Downey Jr). For a good psychological thriller, I would recommend The Machinist.
A twist in a movie you won't see coming? That's the spoiler right there. If people do that, then they are doing a big disservice to the horror genre. Just watch the movies for what they are, great stories.
Like I said last time, most of the "victims" are the actual villains in these films, and Jigsaw is somewhere between vigilante and antihero. There's only a few participants that are actual victims, don't deserve it. But Det. Matthews (as everyone else in that house) got EXACTLY what he deserved. A crooked cop who plants evidence, and used police brutality. In this movie, Jigsaw is my hero. A crooked cop getting his comeuppance. It was justified. Too bad real life doesn't play out the same. Instead, piece of shxt cops tend to get rewarded with medals and promotions, and are defended by a certain segment of society.
For a story with twists you don't see coming, a good story and the way of getting to you in a way that a horror movie just Should Not Do - try watching "Train To Busan" - Prepare to be surprised tho.
the combination to the safe would be 2-?-16-11-9-8/?-?/8, the orange number was never revealed and it's not clear whether Laura's number is indigo or violet. 😂
18:15 - John explicitly told him. Your son is on a SAFE place...
It was right there the whole time
The needle pit scene is one of the best (aka most horrible) torture scene of the franchise imo.
Now i understand why tattoo needles don't hurt as much as regular needles
It's definitely the one I remember most vividly from the Saw series, besides the traps from the 1st movie.
The rack and pendulum is the best trap wym
I don't feel sympathy pain much, but when she hits the needles, I feel it. And when she starts to sweep them with her arms, my skin gets tingly
Yes it is the needles is covered in AIDS

If you haven’t seen the original Scream, it’s so much more quality than your classic slasher film. It’s sort of like a murder mystery more than just someone running around killing everybody
I LOVE Scream! I love that story! Story is what makes it for me… Just like these movies.
If you felt sympathy for John here, can't wait to see your reactions to the next movies in the series!
Also, you should check out 1978's "Magic" starring Anthony Hopkins! No one has ever reacted to the movie on RUclips, it's really good ;-]
Maybe I'll be the first!
I like this movie
There is a theory that Adam is still alive.
👀
Interesting…. I’m not sure how I’d feel about that. Hoffman? Stoked! Adam I feel is a stretch. But considering Leigh wouldn’t write a shitty movie staring himself, I’d watch the hell out of it!
I can proof you that maybe 🤔 Adam is still alive.Theory 😏.
@@joseguerra9956 IM LISTENING
Ok so remember in saw 1 Adams chain ⛓️ is in the left leg
@@joseguerra9956 😃 yeeeeeess
Watch the 1981 thriller, NIGHTHAWKS. It stars Rutger Hauer, Sylvester Stallone and Billie Dee Williams. Rutger is another bad guy you can't help but like.
Added to the list!
I advise trying out child’s play movie franchise starting with the 1988 movie. I think you would enjoy them
Please watch Gone Girl, its genuinely a fantastic mindfuck
How do you skip the best part of the reaction
Leave Obi-Wan 😆.
Have you seen Tarzan The Fearless? It can be found on RUclips
I’ll check it out!
Not horror, so I guess for some time after October - The Judge (Robert Duvall, Robert Downey Jr).
For a good psychological thriller, I would recommend The Machinist.
Ooooh I haven’t watched those! Adding it to the list!
A twist in a movie you won't see coming? That's the spoiler right there. If people do that, then they are doing a big disservice to the horror genre. Just watch the movies for what they are, great stories.
Need to react to the Saw Series
How did Amanda survive the needles. THEY WERE USED and probably with very deadly diseases and she got stabbed like 100 times. Am I missing something?
luck lol
@@andralfoo I guess so lol
Yesss!!!
👍🏻
You need to watch The Others, if you haven't already. Don't spoil yourself first.
Oh, and not horror but just because I can tell you will love it, Arrival is awesome.
Is not really dumb the big guy😂
Strongly recommend Knives Out, a very modern twist on "who done it"
+funnylilgalreacts You have a fear of needles
A BIG FEAR OF NEEDLES. I donate blood just to make myself deal with it 🤣 wish it were out of the kindness of my own heart
Aw you skipped over the reveal
RUclips made me take it out 🥴
@@funnylilgalreacts Darn! How dare they xD love your reactions tho girl
Thanks!!!! ☺️
You look lovely!
Thank you ❤️
to live and die in LA
the combination to the safe would be 2-?-16-11-9-8/?-?/8, the orange number was never revealed and it's not clear whether Laura's number is indigo or violet. 😂
Why did you use the sped up scenes on like the best parts of the movie.

And you skipped Amanda’s tape bruh wyd
