Hey, I'm the developer of TooMuchScaling. Just want to point somethings out here.. 1, you accidentally tried to showcase the mod with non-scalable items.. weird, but okay? 2, you forgot to link the mod in the description.. pls do! 3, This mod is actually fully configurable through a ".ini" file found in the mod folder. Meaning you can even do 1% or even 5000% scaling! 4, although I am a bit worried about how the workshop would handle this mod. I have a feeling that it won't affect things too much as items instead resize back to their vanilla limits. I will soon have an update that 1) includes all scalable items, and 2) Allows you to see if the scale you are at is doable in vanilla.
Just to add here, the min and max of the mod is 10%-500% BUT you can actually open the olv of the mod on and txt program and change that value to 1%, i have it like that, and if you are trying to go on super detail with some of this pieces, for stuff like create logos, like i did with the can can coaster facade, is super useful having it at 1% and still works perfectly.
I recommend promoting the use of a tag to put on workshop creations, something like #ScalingMod just so there's transparency on the workshop, might stay Frontier's hand a little
Glad to see mods are already coming out. I might try to make my own for a couple things that bug me. But first I have some new videos I need to finish first.
This is all I need for the game... I usually dont like playing with mods, but I was already soo annoyed about some minimal scalings that I had the feeling of being prevented to be as creative as i want.
I hope the workshop doesn't get flooded with modded posts 🥺 Also could you, in your next videos, start by saying if non-modded games can use the modded saves? I want to use mods but only those who don't ruin the experience for normal players, and I am sure I am not the only person who thinks this probably, so I would really appreciate it if it could be one of the first things you say in a video. Like mods like the NoTrackLimits on Planco 1 with launches and stuff worked perfectly fine on non modded devices, thanks!:)
@LeafProductions well, when you do mention a mod, I just hope you can be clear about it, like here, because I greatly value that I don't break other's experience if I mod my game!:)
this is awesome! however, i would like a mod to actually scale grid items. the 4m pices are just to huge for realistic building. if every 4x4m piece would be a 3x3m piece, it would be way more convenient.
My concern with this is spending hours working on something and they update the game and it no longer works. All the modified pieces would change back and nothing would look right anymore. 🤷♂️
Ive been a tester of this mod, this would never happen for just a reason. If you dont want to put the thing in the workshop (I dont, my stuff is more to shop on discord and forums with other people in the commnity) you dont have anything to fear. You just build your stuff on your pc, build with it on a save, and if an udpate comes that "brakes" the mod (which will probably get fixed by the modder in very little time) the only thing is you need to do is not play on that save until its fixed. It will only brake the stuff in your parks if you save over once the pieces get bigger. also, the more people download the mod, the better, as if nearly all pc players have it installed we can share our park and blurpints on the whorhsop with a note on the description saying you need the mod, thats it. The only people that will never be able to use are console players. ALso, ive been making some stuff for other people that were gonna use the workshop, it was as easy as taking out the folder from my the planco 2 mod folder, then work as normal on those saves, and when i wanted to go back to my save were i did have the scaled pieces, i put the folder back, open my save and they were exactly as I left them

You shoulda totally included the "invisible entrances" mod because that one is a life-saver when it comes to making parks pretty.

ATTENTION! You beach map crashes the game all time when I try open on my console!!!! Is it you mods?
