Really appreciate the way you keep the pace moving and your experience. Would love some more doneness tips whether by time and/or texture. Thanks for your work!
Looks great and you just can't miss with the Knorr Sides. I've done that Rice with Chicken, Spam and precooked Hamburger. It just plain works. Another that is good is the Zatarain's Rice Mixes. They take a little longer but they are great on the Trail. As for Eggs. Find a Farmer selling Eggs and buy them. They haven't been washed so they don't have to be refrigerated.
Got to add the POW! I thought fur sure you were gonna dip right, then you were like oooops hold up, gotta have some bang zip added to it. We use ‘Franks Red Hot’ or ‘Louisiana Hot Sauce’.
Yup! The rice sides are good too. To jazz it up some, add small handful off mixed nuts and rasins right at the end. Those pineapple or mandarin orange cups add added to the rice make it really good also. If your adventures make you end up in NW Wisconsin, let me know! Lotz to see and do in the area.
Knorr's chicken fried rice with pasta blend is "without a doubt" a favorite side dish of ours. Adding the canned white chichen chunks made it perfect for your Canteen Cup Tuesday choice! I have no doubt this recipe will become another favorite for our day outings, fishing/camping trips and Vespa scooter rides! BTW, if you like cucumbers and tom-tom tomatoes take them along side as a mini side salad to enjoy with it. The flavors complement each other very well, again another favorite that needs no refrigeration, 💯👍and super easy.
Look into knorr soups. They have A LOT of stuff not available here in the states available on amazon. . A lot of German soups and such. I love the wild mushroom soup quite a bit. It comes in a small pouch that looks like a gravy packet. They have hunter soup, borscht, and creamy mushroom sauce(add mushrooms). Herbs for salads and such. Its great it's all powdered/dehydrated just add water or milk. I've used their powdered chicken bullion in place of salt for years to add a layer of flavor. I love that it has parsley already in it. A lot of great stuff they have on the market. It did blow my mind what all they had available internationally as opposed to in the states.
@@FloridaBoyBushcraftSurvival btw the chicken bullion is available everywhere it comes in a plastic can thing at walmart, Kroger, foodlion, and publix. I even have it in the bushcraft spice kit. If ya can't find it, it can sometimes be in the hispanic section.
I like the rice sides, but I think it is too much to eat. I usually split it into two freezer bags and add 1 cup water to each bag. My favorite is Spanish Rice and I add Dehydrated Refried Beans into it.
The Knorr's rice sides all contain pasta. Pasta is full of crap that is not good for you, ie: gluten. I'll admit that it tastes good but I'm trying to eat healthier. Read the labels to see what you are ingesting. Lots of chemicals and additives. BTW, that was Crystal hot sauce not Louisiana hot sauce. I still liked this video.
Awesome love seeing Florida people..hiking and bushcrafting mainly Central FL
Thanks! More to come soon from the woods
Thanks for all your Tuesday's
Looks great👍

Matt been watching you for a little while. May try the knorr rice and chicken?

Good recipe! But wasn't last week's stew and noodles episode 47?
Thanks! You are correct! I must be slipping lol
Holler if you are in the Ocala area
I will. I used to live up there a while back...
Where did you get the lid for your canteen, Matt?
It came with the cup. I have heard that most do not fit very well...
@@FloridaBoyBushcraftSurvival thanks.
Yes that is what I've heard as well.
Where did you get your canteen cup?
@@justjudoful I got it off of Amazon. I think there is a link to it in the description...
@@FloridaBoyBushcraftSurvival ty!
Great idea for a riot/Covid lockdown quick meal. Yes, the hot sauce is a must. Thank you sir.
Any time
What is the shelf life of the rice mix?
I don't know but it is probably pretty long...
Where you at Matt? It’s been like 4 months
Coming back soon, next video will explain...
Thanks “Just a Drop”
I look forward to every Tuesday!
Stay Safe !
More to come!
lol "cat food"
You never know what I am gonna say lol
I've made that a few times myself. I have to make a half batch though because it's too much food for me in one sitting.
Thanks for the video
I ate the whole thing lol

To each his own, I don't eat too much processed foods. Crystal is Louisiana hot sauce, made just outside of New Orleans....
